    4 convector 30s older but all still work and function as they should. 2 have brand new 25 pound blood run mono and 2 have 1 year old 30 lb braid.     I bought some new riggers and was getting ready to get the cannon terminator kit. When reading up on it people say that the plastic will keep the fish hawk from communicating with the display unit. Just wondering if that is the case.     The current is a very good point. Often we have to adjust our troll or go the complete opposite of what we were planning to play with the current otherwise your baits arent going to be running right and a dipsy will be easy to tell Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    I would by at least a 24 inch track and fit the biggest track that will fit on each side. Today length depends on your boat we can run 3 a side and I run a 7 8 8.5 from back to front on a 1 2 3 setting. 1 ft apart is pretty good spacing and watch the rod tips they should look the same otherwise something may be fouled.     You can find fish sometimes within a few miles of shore or 8 to 10 miles just depends on the weather and where the temp sets up. In the first week of august we caught a few just a mile or 2 north of the harbor but did way better 8 miles w nw of the harbor in 450 ft. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Most of the name brand ones are Interchangable. If you look for off brand or cheap ones on ebay or amazon they may not be the same. Stick with Bert's cisco traxtech and you will be ok Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Funny you guys come to ohio to get spoiled on our walleye and we come to New York to fight salmon cause were bored of walleye. Weve been fishing that area regular and east to lorain there is fish for miles along that line. The water has cooled significantly this week I would start around 1.6 and move up or down from there.
