I've been using the #3 size for Walleye in western basin of Lake Erie for the last month. I have really worked the heck out of them, because I bought so many of them, and they are expensive. I want them to work. They definitely have a fantastic side to side wiggle action to them at slow trolling speed 1.8 and is consistent running faster at 2.5 mph. I had to replace all of the stock hooks with Gamakatsu #1 Siwash hooks, as I was losing too many fish on the stock treble hooks (they are a size too small IMO). Our hook up percentage has increased dramatically. my buddy replaced all of his with Bandit hooks (size #4 trebles) and likes them better. The paint is holding up pretty good. NASCAR has been our best color. So far, they have produced the best behind a #3 Chinook diver, but we have also done well using them behind a Jet 30. I plan on trying them on short lead cores soon, as i feel they will do the best on them. Are they a magical lure: Not in my opinion. Have they caught any more fish than my Stingers or Silver streak Jr's: No I'm going to keep running them, simply because I bought so many and I want them to work. I do think behind 2,3 and 4 color lead cores for walleyes they will do well because of the action. My buddy bought a bunch of the #4 and #5 size to try on Lake Huron for Lake trout. I think they will work good for that.

Finally, a guy in Michigan is making a 3D printed holder for Chinook Divers. Diver Dock - Chinook Diver I bought 2 port and 2 starboards. they fit my #6, #5, #4 and my #3's excellent quality and tight fit. My buddy liked them so much he ordered 4 as well. If they show out of stock, Call Eric (owner) at 989-327-7079 and he will get them out to you. I am in no way affiliated with Diver dock in any way, I saw him at a fishing show in Grand Rapids Michigan and have been needing someone to make this product for a couple years

I bought 2 sets for pulling muskie lures on Lake St Clair. They work great. They pull big lures at 3.5 mph really well very small and compact as well making them easier to bring in -

When is the best time of the year to come to Olcott? I was there May 5th (Cinco DE 'Mayo) and July 4th. Both were not good. -

I have switched ports the Point breeze (the Oak). I've had much better success there over Olcott the last 2 years -

Cat Power replied to BabyJoes's topic in New York Fishing Reports - Lake Ontario (South Shore)
We were there 5-4 to 5-9. Boated 16 fish all week, mostly coho Be careful launching at Fort Niagara launch, current is crazy fast. Had very difficult time getting the boat back on trailer and ended up breaking my kicker motor prop, hitting the wall. I will never launch there again. -

I bought 8 deep six's and I know they have a stated depth rating on each one (40, 60, 90, 135), but I can't seem to find a dive chart anywhere. I am assuming 100 feet back gets you to the rated depth, or is it more of a 2:1 ratio? I don't know. A ratio makes more sense. My 60 would be 120 feet back, my 90 would be 180 feet back etc. etc. Running 40-pound braid for these rods. I have contacted Rapala customer service, twice! with no response. That is irritating, they are NO help. thanks Cat

OP, Take a look at a product called Stern Pad, it is made by Seaworthy Innovations (made in the USA). It is exactly what you are wanting. No holes in your boat Pad has a 3M VHB Adhesive. It won't come off
