Discovered a new way to fish in the keys but they are 600 to 700 ft down..it takes a pretty heavy weight and ya drift over humps so ya need to reel in and reset several times a hour ..sorta like reeling in 700ft copper 10 times a hour .. even a large spool 2 speed manual might work ....thanks..oh Snowy grouper.and tilefish are the targets..Good eating.............. -

My dad and I have finally decided on the boat we are going to get... We are getting a 1996 spectrum pro avenger. My first thought was "wow that's older" but when we got there to look at it we learned it only has 34 hours on it and also comes wih a 9.9 horse kicker motor that has 12 hours on it... The thing looks brand new but, we are looking to put a new bow mounted trolling motor on it, I would prefer it to be foot control rather than remote control.

Hi Everyone! First time posting, but I've followed the boards for a while. I'm on the hunt for a Sea Nymph 191 CC (195 GLS would work just fine), Starcraft 196 fishmaster or the 19-22 foot Starcraft CC's (no cuddy's). Don't care what year the center console is, as long as it's in functional shape and doesn't take on water. If it's a dual console, I'd prefer mid 80's or newer and decent shape. Motor is ideally 90hp+ and mid 90's to early 00's. I'm north of Toronto, but happy to take a long drive to find the right boat and bring it across the border. Thanks for reading. -
