Got on the water friday morning after the storms and the debris fields were overwhelming, kept moving to find clear water,  set up a rigger and within 10 minutes it fired with a line of fleas a foot long, so pulled that out of the spread and fished coppers and cores. My go to coppers were quiet this weekend other than small bows and browns.....I just haven't found the spot where the bigger fish like it yet.....need more time...

Cores saved the weekend and although they weren't on fire, we did manage some good bows along with some good eaters. Threw down the loudest spoons I could find and made as many sharp turns as I could to trigger bites.

2.5 surface did well, cores with larger spoons kept the smaller ones off. Fleas a pain, as to be expected. Debris fields were present in many places and made it a challenge to maintain the spread......im hoping it will set up soon as fish ate all over the column..tight lines.
