Monroe County Fishing Report for May 4, 2018

One week before the LOC derby begins and the brown trout and salmon fishing is on fire.

 

There are good reports of brown trout from Hamlin Beach to Webster Pier.

 

Fishing close to shore with stick baits and spoons from 8 to 15 foot of water.

 

We’re also getting reports of good salmon fishing in 15 to 30 foot of water.

 

For shore fishermen, Webster Pier has been productive for brown trout.

 

There is also good perch fishing in Long Pond and Cranberry Pond. 

 

Walleye and Pike open May 5, 2018.
