  1. JakeyBaby - yup they can produce. i remember awhile back when we pounded the spring kings off I.bay with yo-zuri crystal minnow sticks for a week or so. Also got a bunch of bomber long a's with massive teeth marks from kings staging off the genny. Sticks can produce kings but usually not a go to spread for us when target kings specifically.
  2. i figured as much. i grabbed 2 from narby's and was impressed with the paint job and how well they track! be in touch soon wanna get a few more. thanks
  3. hey yankee- i thought us "old school" bass fisherman where the only ones that tunes stick and crankbaits lol. topeye- as stated generaly stickbaits are not a first choice or in the spread for kings. As for your question about adding weight yes there are times when this is deadly off the boards. Adding split spots or the rubber core twist weights 6 to 8' up form the stick. I place the weights as far from the stick as possible (rod length) the amount of weight added depends on the depth you want to achieve.

  5. Ito coho flies work perfect .... A ton of great colors and no cutting down to size needed. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. when running in stained/lo vis. muddy water we will start with one rattling stickbait off each board and always on the line closet to the board (first rod out). If they start to go and take fish we add another rattling stick to only one side at a time. Slowly adding more into the spread. To much noise can have a negative effect and repel the browns. Killing a once producing balanced presentation also very limited success in green water with them for browns but have beatin up on coho with them.
  7. Streeters on 104 just over the line in Ontario. Did 10 customers fish for us last season and also has done a bunch of my own including a 11pound walleye. Great guy and great work. highly recommend him.

  9. well not plowing yet today for once and now that most of the new website/social media stuff is completed time to get the boat ready

  10. yes a slide diver will reach 100 depths if you run wire line. Slide diver/wire rods have put ALOT of fish in the boat for us. We have to wire rods rigged up just for this set up. Been running them with wire since early 2003.
  11. Got a brand new never open canon rear mount rod holder. this is cannon #3395556 single tube dual axis adjustable. Never opened box, came with new rig and have no use for it. first $25.00 takes it list on ebay for $45.00 + leave meassge 585-747-7897
  12. wow - link to some berts on sale in the classifieds http://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishing-hunting/topic/47530-berts-alumium-rachet-rod-holders/
  13. i second what big dave said - go with a heavy duty metal holder. Bert's cannon and big jon all have rod holders that also ratch up -this is a great feature -makes getting the rod out the holder SOOOOOO much easier and faster with a fish on.
  14. Adk1 Like I said its unreal but expensive the complete Set up the way I wanted was like $2200.00 and that's totally separate from my chart plotter and platnum chip.having that on the computer combined with the chart on the boat is unreal. Too many toys lol
  15. Adk1 Yeah it's probably the best "off the shelf" chip I have seen for the lake. Check out nobeltec if ya like the navtronics chip. I have the software on a laptop in the boat and it's sick.... Expensive but sick
