  1. I have a buddy who has dual outboards. I'll ask him and get back to you.
  2. Thanks! Perfectly legal in the ones we fish. Once the tournament organizers understood the ST they allowed it.

  4. I've used both Power Pro and AFW braid. 150lb test. Love the stuff. We run 20lb sharks on it regularly. Very easy to terminate. Sent from my XT1575 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Wish I had the cash bud! That'd make a nice tourney ride!
  6. The only rigger with cable on my boat is the coated cable rigger for my Sub-Troll. I do what Gill-T mentioned, but add crimps and crimp the tag end to the cable. Easy, cheap, and durable.
  7. FF I'm guessing you're losing or breaking things off becasue of some other factor. We run the normal coated cable with a 15lb weight all year long without any issues. If you go to a thicker/heavier coated cable you are going to see a big difference in blow back. How about you post some pics of your set-up? From the rigger to the connections?
  8. You could, but you don't want to. Stick with regular coated cable.
  9. I'd love a 9M for a tourney ride!
  10. I second his reccomendation

  12. Bout time you put that sexy Tiara of yours on your profile! Get rid of the Bayliner.
  13. Here are my opinions, but take them as that. Some things may not be as important to you as they are me. I don't think you can go wrong with that 9M if it's in nice shape. Survey looked OK, but I don't think it was recent? 29 Penny's are nice, and very cheap to run, but if the work down below hasn't been done yet it can get expensive. The rampage is a nice ride, and eats waves, but getting 5 or 6 clients out of the elements wont happen. You can find a lot of pre '92 Tiara's in your price range that make great charter boats. Look at 29 Aquaports, but they have the same issues getting clients out of the elements like the Rampage. Wellcrafts are nice rides. The 28 coastal is nice, but not much room for clients under the top. 33' is nice. Look at Sea Ray 330 Express Cruisers from 1997-1999. Lots of room and a big beam.

  17. Hey, I got your e-mail, but didn't have an e-mail address to respond to since you entered the question into a form on my website. Please don't think I blew you off. You don;t need 180lb test. What makes you think you do is the first question that comes to mind.
  18. Don't forget about our Fishing Reports/Blog. We may not be fishing, but we've got lots of great news! https://t.co/kR3rxhULLv

  19. If your riggers are working why waste money replacing them when you can use it to buy set-ups? Stick with a Daiwa 47 size reel and it will work for both species. For a rod a 7-8.6' Medium action downrigger rod can double as a rigger rod and a flat line rod. I've always been a Daiwa guy, and they have a lot of choices for you. For divers make sure you get a diver rod and that same 47 sized reel will work just fine. Don't skimp on diver rod holders. The strikes are vicious, and the wire offers no shock absorption.

  23. Tried them in the spring a few years back with no luck.
  24. I'm stubborn and stuck on my MOOR, but every day I ran it in tandem with the speed probe. I want to ease into getting used to the ST speed probe, and see where it needs to be when I do certain speeds I'm used to on the MOOR.
