No but some small browns are........we got this one a few hours ago...... 7# 8oz.

Boy glad this post came up..............I was sure I had it done but when I went out to check 5.40 showed not 6.3............. then I checked the other unit that the replaced the bad repair job on my other 788ci with a 798 HD SI and it was right ( differnt update for that unit ) sooooooooooooo I went back out checked the site out ( Hum B ) put a SD card in my puter and downloaded the new version , went out to boat set it back to factory setting and went to update.........the sencond RED screen that came up with ABORT it all came back to me then .........you have to press NO and it will then update.........is this what also threw you ?????? I was doing the two units that day and must of done the 798 right and hit YES on the 788ci and ABORTED the update.......

I think that was the first step for me when my transducer went bad the the color just started ropping off, if they replace it for you keep from opening it and contact them to upgrade too the quad beam. I think they will and the charge would (if any ) be well worth it................ but if I ever have to buy one again it will not be thru HB , not crazy about there 83/200 ...........anyway the latest update for that unit is when you first turn your unit on it shows what version you have in it at the time.................. I still have issue some times but just turning unit off and back on has taken care of them............

Oh and I think Kinger Boy got seasick...........

....we got out about 8:30 am a little lumpy so only went north as far as Long Point ( weeds all over right at the point ) trolled south for about 6 + miles went 3 for 6 all browns all small last one was about 15.5" ....................not much bait and not many marks..................

...... I'm with you on that love just going for those.......... I just have to remember IF I have other people on the boat to get the KNOT out of my head and go after the lakers , easier to find and most times you can make them bite if you have to WACK'N with a cannon ball..................

It was honking in the middle from 5:30 am till 8ish when we left to come back home.........the south end was OK because the wind was coming from the SSW no time to build...... so next time figure wind direction VS> where you want to fish.......... you could have hid behind Lodi Point and jigged a limited area or behind Long Point and had a large area there to fish........some big lakers in that area now 110' to 120' on or near the bottom..........

Thanks everyone , back in Pa. now it was too ruff this morning for my son ( BAD back ) ...........be awhile before I get back up again but plan on beiing there for about two weeks next time

Sure Nick , your boat would look BARE running my three rod brown/LL / rainbow program but I'm game....... My son is three inches shorter and 90 pounds lighter............. ......other than those two small things we look alike.......

My son and made the run up to camp from Pa. this morning left there around 8ish and was on the water around noon 30 or so.................washed lures till 2:30 ish then made a run north .......picked up a good brown 6# 9oz. and a 24" laker later ........ just could not get them going but it was great being on the water again and having my son in the boat......the fish were just a bonus !!!!!! Yea I made him put the TIE on.....

WTG..........coming back up in the am with my son........we'll do a late bite that day and in the am the next then back down here.......

How about the cheeks !!!!!! That is the BEST !!!!!
