  1. If you want to catch some lake trout go to 60 to 70 fow in front of creek. Drop a glow frog down 60 . We were out for a few hour this morn. Couldnt keep those balls off our hooks. Did do a dink king same area. Good luck. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  2. My sprint phones works awsome around hamlin/ rochester shores, out to at least 7 miles. never got and roaming charges even up in thousand islands. If I did Im sure they would credit me back. Ever since they got that new CEO they signed roaming agreements with verizon, and sprint doesnt put a cap on thier date. Their 3 g is faster than Atts 4g and verizons 3g. Sprint plans are way lower then Att and especaily Verizon, Sprints unlimited talk/ text / data plans $69 or $129 for family plan before discounts. I plan on haveing hot spot on my boat this year useing my phone.
  3. We trolled east and did a bunch of coho. Guess we should have trolled west. To get into those kings lol Great job the season is just startin. I like what I'm see in so far [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

  6. Anyone have a good idea for keeping birds from landing on my antenna and crapping on my canvase. I was thinking of tapping long needle ur two and the end so they get pricked when they try to land. If I have to ill get the red ranger bb gun out but I dont want to shot my eye out:)

  10. Picked up small row boat and motor. Its registered, I wear a life jacket and have a wistle. I dont think I need flares as the boat doesnt have lights. Do I need a signal flag? Dont think I need a fire extinguister? What am I missing?
  11. Just went to West Marine (they match prices) and picked up a gallon of on off acid stuff for my hull for $24 they had it marked for $44 dollars, and while I was in line I scanned the barcode on nonskid deck cleaner and found it on line for $5.99 they matched that price too.
  12. The ice finally broke up in Sandy creek. Seems like it held on a little longer this year then others. The level still seems a little low for this time of year. The time is getting closer and closer
  13. Bummer Ill be out of town that weekend. I hope it goes well and there is one next year. It will be interesting to see the result when I get back.
  14. We caught 3 fish this year with identical scars, like the fish in your picture?? They all survive to grow and fight another day as well.
  15. fishing has ben great this past weekend and this morning. Caught lots of fish and lost a monster witch I faught for 30 minutes in and epic battle. The fishing was good from 180fow out to 225fow down 75 to 110. The best lure was spin doc and anything that glowed. Lost the biggest this morning he nawed through some pritty heft fly line. Next time I losen the drag a little more . Its weekends like this that makes you glad to be American and live next to a great fishery like the big O.
  16. Fished after work for few hours, lake was dead calm. Started straight off sandy creek in 100fow and trolled NW found good bait in 200fow down 50 and that is were I caught 2 small kings and nice bow. Best colors black green and golb. Hopefully I get out again Sunday mornin.
  17. Fished a few hours this morning started 40 fow and marked LT on the bottom 60 fow, coaught a few and even watched on come up from the bottom and into the spread and then release (love when that happens) it was a big 16lb LT. all fish caught in 60 to 70 fow down 55- 60 dark colors in front of area 1
  18. I think you need to have a hockey stick on board and lots of Labats Blue
  19. Nice morning out on the big O, lots of fishable water out front and enough chop to help hide the boat. Fished from 630 till 930 and went 7 for 7 silvers and browns with the biggest brown over 10lbs. Fished about 10 fow only 2 ur 3 boats out?
  20. That song is magic on my boat if its slow and that song is played most of the time by the time it is over we have "fish on"
  21. First trip out of Sandy creek. Started 630 am till 930am trolled from the creek to the park not alot of good water out there, that southern wind Saturday didnt help. Did manage a healthy 4.5lb small mouth on and red rapala off one of the boards in 10 fow. The creek is extremely low, late fall low, 4-5 foot at the mouth. Some good rain will help fishing and the creek level. Great to back out onth the big lake.
