  1. Ray was that a Marine bobber , green with a little handle and a pin thing to put the line through??
  2. Off the plant and down toward Al-Can should get you some bites
  3. With the braid with no strech you might want a rod that has a little more flex. We use 50# between the dipsie and the flasher with a snubber. Those head shakes at the back of the boat are where you run in to trouble.
  4. I love my 7' fish doctor rods!!!!1 The 7' dipsie rods make short work of the kings on the wire. The rigger rods load up nice and are fun to fight the fish with.

  12. Off to get a new knee tomarrow, so I will be out of action for the next couple of months. I have been enjoying the reports. Keeping track of Yankee troller , from Africa to the Tronto suburbs. And Capt Vince Pierleoni Trip around the Greatlakes. So please keep up the good work, it beats watching the Chiller channel with my motherinlaw Dave

  16. Bought my X-4 Just before last fall LOC and fished both weeks. Then went out on Cayuga a couple of times and fished the Spring LOC with the same set of battaries in the probe!
  17. Its most likely trapped air bubbles flowing over the transducer. Rivets ( I have an Alum. boat) will cause this. Air from waves making bubbles, you get the idea. You can try to put your transducer deeper into the water below the boat, or move it to a spot that has clear water at speed.
  18. Too light wire and too many connections that have corroison are the main causes of The slow blues.
