I upgraded my ignition last year and its been great! I had too many problems with old thunderbolt technology. (it wasnt jump from a points based system). Talk to Hank L&M and ask for an opinion from him.

Great Reel. Not at the level of the Catalina but a step up from the Convectors. If you like your Convectors then you will like these that much more. I have been slowly upgrading all of my Convectors to them.

Im surprised by the number of guys that are suggesting the best fly leader material is 50# mono. I understand the huge cost difference between the 2 but if money was no object would your answer be the same?
