  1. I got mine at Screwey Louis in Fairhaven, but that was a few years ago. Mine are the A-Tom-Mik ones, which I think you can get on his website. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. 16 pound seems plenty heavy enough. We run riggers down to and slightly over 100 feet often. Using 16 on the probe and 13 on the others makes the blowback consistent. Been running 16s on my Cannons HS for years. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. 16 pound torpedoes on the probe riggers, 13 pound torpedoes on the non-probe. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Went to the Sox game Friday, and decided to shoot up to Gloucester on Saturday morning to see the memorial and buy some seafood. We stopped at a spot with a sign for Lobster for sale, and then noticed it was the "Home of Hard Merchandise". We went out back to see the Falcon and Hard Merchandise boats, and Dave Marciano and his son Joe showed up. We spoke with him briefly, and took a couple pix. He is a nice guy. We didn't bother him for more than a minute or 2. Maybe the show has some scripted parts. I watch it a bit. Not every episode. Better than a lot of other stuff on, that's for sure. The fact is that a likeable 28 year old kid died. That is sad. No reason to get on soap boxes or bash other members, pro member or not. Makes you think about what is really important. Enjoy every day out there... Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Bigger issue could be your wire divers if you turn too tight. Never had an issue with the chute rigger. Sometimes we bring the copper in when the chute rigger fires, sometimes we move it off to the side. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. You really should use marine grade wire, which is tinned the entire length to prevent corrosion. An electrical contractor wont have that. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Fuse the 12AWG wire at 20 amps. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. I guess it depends on the rigger, but typically 10AWG fused at 30 amps.
  9. "Interfere" was supposed to be "interface"... Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. What brand electronics do you already have? Many can interfere with your plotter/finder. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. I think everyone is telling you that it is not slow for anyone else. If you want Chad to help you, you should provide your OS and browser version and revision, as well as any other relevant information. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. I use 600s. 1000' of wire fits nicely with no backing required. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I never said it was illegal to catch them. I said it was illegal to catch them and fish them as live bait. And I indicated there are concerns with transport. Re-read my post and lighten up... Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. So, I read the regs a while ago. Mostly because I was asked about Gobey as bait for bass. I don't feel the obligation to read and summarize my interpretation here. If you interpret differently I am fine with that. I am just saying that anyone who want to catch bait should know the regulations. I am not an authority on the subject. 15. Read the regs. Can't fish them live, can't transport them. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. We are set up for 2 Chinook Divers and 2 Slide Divers. The Chinook Divers are always set the same, and we adjust the Slide Divers if we do 2 per side. Chinook Divers hands down deeper and easier to reel in when released over traditional plastic divers. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. So, are you measuring amps or volts? I am confused. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Well, you should have 12 to 14 volts DC. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Switch to DC. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Did a quick trip tonight. Lake was flat and fleas were slightly better. Ended 3 for 5 with 2 break-offs. (Ouch). Decent quality fish. This one was 21 or so. Meat still producing. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. When I trailered a boat with a kicker I used a ratchet strap around the motor up to the stern cleat to keep it from bouncing. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Yep. Releases need to be above the probe. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Or this. Don't worry about what is there. Run 8awg red and black (or yellow) to the battery. Fuse at the battery at 30 or 40 amp. Wire all your accessories to the new panel, and fuse accordingly. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
