  1. There is a 25hp Yamaha on FB marketplace. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/758257981248267/ Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. I don't want to risk it. But if someone else wanted to and reported back that would be great. They take PayPal... Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Anyone out there bought from this site? Seems sketchy... http://outboardmotorssale.com/products/Suzuki-15-HP-DF15AES2-Outboard-Motor.html
  4. I run a 15HP Mercury 4 stroke with electric start, and a transom mount trolling motor off a single group 29 battery. I did mount my battery at the bow. This is on a 14' Tracker Guide. The new motors are EFI, and should start much easier than carburetor models like mine. So far so good for me, but I don't use this boat for extended periods. 5. This is the one I would buy. https://onlineoutboards.com/collections/suzuki-outboard-motors/products/suzuki-15-hp-df15aes2-outboard-motor Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Lowrance HOOK2 5 with SplitShot Transducer for Downscan and Chirp. Includes Navionics + US & Canada. Also includes Lowrance portable power pack with Ice Transducer and new battery. Includes Ram Mount. Mount in your boat, then just move unit to portable case for ice fishing. All manuals included. $360. Located on Sodus Bay, but travel to Rochester most days.
  7. Thanks Rick. The NortheEast card has excellent detail for Oneida as well. Have you tried the Great Lakes card? It just doesn't seem possible they would sell a card with less detail than basemap...
  8. Yes, you can do what both wallyandre and horsehunter asked with any card. The feature that Lakemaster gives you, if it has depth contours, is to get near a depth that you want, and tell it to follow the shoreline, keeping the boat in xx FOW without having to create a route or repeating one.
  9. Yes, Navionics is great, and I have that. But the question was about iPilot Link and following contours, which can only be done with Lakemaster cards. And to the best of my knowledge, there is not a Lakemaster card that will allow you to follow contours on Lake Ontario.
  10. Hmmm... I have the LakeMaster PLUS Northeast V2 card that I bought for Oneida. It does not have Lake Ontario or the bays on it as far as I know. It for certain does not have anything near Sodus Bay, as it provides no detail. I would check again before you shell out $150. Below is the link to the Northeast lake list. And I think it needs to be High Definition to have the contours you need for iPilot Link. https://humminbird.johnsonoutdoors.com/sites/johnsonoutdoors-store/files/assets/misc/HU/H/HUM_productmanual_600045-4_ll_ne1/HUM_productmanual_600045-4_ll_ne1.pdf I have purchased 3 Lakemaster Plus cards, and 2 of them were a complete waste of money, Great Lakes and Ontario Canada. The Northeast card for Oneida is awesome. But, with Fishsmart I could have bought just that lake. I know I sound like i'm bi tching, but I spent a lot of money for something that will never come out of my glove-box.
  11. See screen shots below. The first is Basemap, the second is Lakemaster Plus, and the third is Navionics. All 3 from my dock.I can't believe they charge for a card that has less detail than the basemap.
  12. The Great Lakes card sucks for Lake Ontario, and actually has LESS detail than the built in base map. What a waste of $150... Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Never mind, see that it is 8. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. We used them a lot for a couple years. They are not a bad substitute for meat, but meat out produces them in my opinion. They definitely do catch fish though. Seemed most effective late morning when the spoon bite died off. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  17. Yep - looked on eBay. Would prefer to buy locally from this community. Thanks.
  18. Google Fish Lo K Tor and you will see what we are talking about. It is the original depth finder type product. Most people know what they are, so I didn't provide a picture.
  19. Maybe they can reply. Too far from Sodus Bay to go look. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Thanks? Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Anyone have an old one of these laying around? I don't care if it works, but I would like one that looks good. Let me know. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Plus I already bought it from Zach 6 months ago... Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. If I were you I would sell yours and try to find a used newer bluetooth Terrova that uses the heading sensor. The spot lock accuracy is WAY better. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. We started using boga grips on a short leash to revive our fish. We have had 100% success rate releasing them this way. Only takes a couple of minutes. It's also a good way to bleed them if you plan to keep one. Keeps all the blood out of your cooler. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
