  6. Coup I didnt want you test out the mob button on the gps.... It was damn close a few times... Im still finding more bruises in spots I dont even remember hitting on sunday....... Dale
  7. Steve maybe you should try getting closer to the other boats and just net there fish for your clients..... Then you would not have to call anybody or even set rods for that matter. ............ Dale
  8. Rod nice job fishing this weekend.. I'm with Jeff on this by the time the snow melts you will be chomping to get out there and fish the Pro/Ams..... I know I will be chomping at the bit once the snow melts to fish every tournament under the sun.... That cabin fever gets you down.....Dale
  9. Bob that is a great post.. I have wanted to jig for lakers on the flx for several years now.. I am an avid troller on the Big O and Canandaigua but I love the thought of having a laker slam a jig on a medium action rod.... When I was a younger man I used to cast for springtime browns from shore and would love it when the brown slammed my crocodile on a nice slow retrieve.... What is the chance I can get you to come out on my boat and you can teach me the some of your tactics.... Thanks... Dale
  10. Ray nice job this weekend, I watched you weigh in on sunday really nice box of fish.. we had two okay boxes over the weekend.. I think that will be the Pro/Am you will remember for the rest of your life fishing with your boy... I could see that with the biggest smile on your face.....Congrat Ray..... Dale
  11. Tim we did have a very fun 3 day deal... Coup thanks again for letting us use your baby on friday.. If we did not have the probe I guarantee we would not have done the quality fish we had in our winning box for the Captain Jacks Challenge... Our Team really jelled nicely over the last couple weeks of fishing hard together now its time to get a few things done around the house like you said....Hey at least we got to the weigh in on time in Sodus... Imagine if we had done that in Oswego, that would have been a really nice stretch of fishing for our Team.... Dale
  12. Bottom feeder congrats on a successful weekend of fishing... we fished under the Hide and Seek name of Coups boat in the Pro Division and had a very fun weekend of fishing.. Sunday we had the same theory as Musky had "Go Big or Go Home"... We did not fair very well... But our team learned a ton..... I did get to meet Landshark on Sunday at the weigh in and it was very nice to meet him... Again congrats men on a fun weekend... Woody
  13. First off Congrats to the Winners Cold Steel and Spoonfed you guys deserved it.. Tom congrats on your win, your Captain made an awesome call to run west on sunday morning... That was probably the worst condtions I have ever fished.. Got more bruises on me from falling down in the back of the boat trying to rig, reeling and netting... VERY FRUSTRATING... Our Team Hide and Seek had a great time competing against the best damn fisherman on the lake...Not only great fisherman but great people..... Woody
  14. Glen I did not get to meet you at the Pro/Am but I got see your boxes getting weighed..... Nice job on your win and some seriously Quality fish.... We fished the Pro Division under the name Hide and Seek and had a very fun 3 day deal with our crew.... Woody
  15. I think we will see the same deal as 1999 Fall LOC... The biggest being around 42 or 43lbs and the 20th place being around 35lbs.... These are some healthy fish this year and the Sodus Pro/Am is this weekend... Look out for a 35lber getting weighed in this weekend and the 20th place fish being around 30lbs....... Life is good...... Dale
  16. Mike the Rochester carb has a fuel filter right on the carb it is a small paper filter maybe that is clogged..... Dale
  17. Jack I'm fishing with Tim from(Finders Keepers) and Chris (Coup) from the board for Sodus, and we will probably do a few more next year..... Jack these guys remind me of how r Team gelled together for our Pro/Ams..... Really a great bunch of guys to fish with... We will be fishing out of Coups Penn Yan.... Stop down to Sodus next weekend and I will buy you a beer...... I will be fishing everyday this week except wednesday gotta work..... Dale
  18. Scotty releases are the best... Love seeing them bounce with a hit before the release... Helps in hookups for us..... Dale
  19. Mike nice report how is the boat running...... Dale
  20. Jack unfortunately I am working at the FD till 730am then I have a bunch of things around the house to complete before monday... Getting prepared for Pro/Am in Sodus this weekend...... Does that bring back any memories/nighmares........Remember the Copper rig getting spliced with Steves leadcore and winding up in a wad in the cuddy........ Dale
  21. I always post when out on the FLX just have been fishing the BIG O hard lately....... Dale
  22. Jack nice to see your fishing post..... Nice job on the eyes... Let me know if you need a fishing partner on the Erie..... Woody
  23. Okay I think my Blood Pressure has come down after yesterdays ordeal under the tent in Oswego. I appreciate Tim posting the discrepancy on this matter for my team "MUD CHICKEN". I unfortunately wish it ended slightly differently of course... I do think that next time this Challenge gets posted that being in line with the cooler NEEDS to be on there.. If that had been on there you can guarantee that I would have been running through the tent with at least 2 out of 3 of our fish slime running down my leg... Unfortunately our cooler weighed roughly 100lbs between fish and water..... That is what slowed us getting it under the tent..... Tom I appreciate your post on this matter and I understand where your coming from but any gray areas are subject to arguement.. Now my Teams main goal yesterday was to see how we as a Team could hold up with the Best on the Lake... Now we know we can hang with the best and yesterdays ordeal will just fuel the fire for us to perform better than yesterday and hopefully put some serious fish in the boat for next weekend in Sodus... Tim and I will be fishing next weekend with Coup under the name Hide and Seek so we will see everybody in the Point......... Dale P.S. We will make sure that we are back to the tent with our cooler in plenty of time next time.........Maybe even some cold in there also ......HAHAHAHA
