  1. Convinced two friends to go fishing instead of hunting in the am. It was extra special for my one friend because it was his birthday and he got to fish the am then hunt in the pm. We went out of bear creek on a great day for November. Caught 3 Browns 2 Lakers and 1 steel, all were released for another day. Goby stick baits on the boards and DW frog worked off the riggers. Fished the 20 to 40 fow, inside of 20 was crystal clear water. Water temp was 52 degrees surface. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  3. Went out this am for what will be my last trip of the year with the big rig. Went 2 for 3. Fished the 20 to 40 fow. 10 down over 24fow was our best screen. White J plug 50 back off the ball took all the hits early this am. Kept one buck for the smoker. Good luck to all who are still fishing and can't wait for spring already😄 Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. Pap, people were showing pics of their lakers from all different, times of the year, so I could not resist to share mine. Not sure why u are so concerned when it was caught but that's okay. That's what this whole board is about info and knowledge. Hopefully someone can use the pic to gauge the size and shape of their trophy down the road. Tight lines
  7. Funny Pap! That was a fish caught two days before this years spring loc derby. I put it back so hopefully some one else can catch it and enjoy the fight it gave me. Tight lines

  10. Fished this am and had a hot early bite. We were 9 for 9 before 9 am. That was with just trying to get four rods in the water. Fished the 130 to 200 straight out the creek and a bit west. 48 and 60 down were our riggers, wires out 175 with a 3 setting. Two fish off the 8 color later when it slowed. Cookie cutter kings 6-8lbs with one 16lber. Couple steel too. Ended the day around noon with an east wind which slowed the bite but we picked our way into double digits. 11. When i had a survey done to a boat, it was done first on land and then if it passed they did a sea trial next. most surveyors have the tools and means to look the whole boat over, my guy wld look at the stringers and transom first then if either were bad he wld stop as i did not want to invest in that type of project, price can vary depending on who u chose. call a few and see what they charge per foot. Hope this helps a little Good luck
  12. A good day out in front of the creek. Lots of of positive chatter which amps up the excitement for the season. Fished that 100 to 120 mark and and went 14 for 18 with a spoon bite being the best, other than that nothing much diff program wise. Good mix of kings, steel n lakers so enjoy a few pics and Memorial Day. Tight lines everyone Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Have you found your upgrade yet, thought i saw a decent marinet for sale on happy days boating just an fyi. thanks and take care
  14. Fished a few hrs today from the creek to the nose, Ranged from 80 to 130 fow, had a down temp of 45 degrees, at 60 fow, marked a bunch of fish but only managed to connect with 4, 1 king(6lbs) 1 steel, and 2 lakers. Mostly a spoon bite with DW frog working best, but also threw a bunch of stuff at them. Lake was nice today with a little chop. Good luck to everyone and enjoy the memorial weekend.
