Fishing Report: fished out of I-bay stayed in the 15-40 fow east bound picked up 1 brown and 3 cohos nice day on the water

Damm it!! I sent him all the leftover money from the check … i thought it was too good to be true he was going to pay me 1000 for a 6hr trip but he accidently sent a check for 2000 I’m sure he will show up to go fishing and pay for bounced check…lol These guys are scum bags I have ran into this a lot selling stuff on the internet they waste your time pretending they are interested going back and forth with e m asking questions and feeding you a line of bs I would love to find one of these guys and break all his fingers off so he has to type with his tongue!! I’m going to e-m this guy as I do all the others and let him know what I think about him…..

I had no chance at getting out on the big O due to the winds but its never to nasty to get out on canidice! We fished for about 3 hr in the wind rain and snow only to net 2 small browns which were 2 of the maybe 10 fish we marked on the screen after trolling up and down the lake twice! both fish burping up alewife in the 2in range but I never seen schools of bait anywhere?

I purchased a Marinco 12v Sealink Receptacle With Alligator Clips last fall so I could use my trolling motor battery to run my satellite radio I never got a chance to use it so when I got the boat out this spring I hooked it up my brother went to grab the plug and noticed it was HOT I jumped back in the boat ripped open the bow where the battery was buried and unhooked the leads as fast as I could but it wasn’t quick enough I burnt my hand and the boat carpet got burnt in the hull and the whole garage was filled with smoke… so the reason it shorted out was because the terminals inside the pre-manufactured plug came in contact with each other causing the short when the plug was jarred!~ ok now the question is should I blame myself for not installing a fuse that could have prevented the short? Should I blame Marinco for their poorly manufactured product and try to get them to at least refund my $35 and maybe suggest that they put a inline fuse on their hot so this doesn’t happen to someone else? Or should I just be happy I still have a boat and a garage and glad that it didn’t happen the next morning when I was out on lake O?

Just looking over last year’s fishing log its getting the blood pumping this trip is one I will never forget with my dad and brother it was the first trip of the year it was a balmy 27F when we lunched out of I-Bay my boat just barley fits under the bridge by an inch or less we made it out on the open water just before day break with 6 newly spooled rods all rigged with shiny new F11s when we got out east about a mile and shut the boat off in 12fow water and seen the emerald green water color we knew it was game on! We got all of 2 rods set and zzzzz,zzzz FISH ON and the rest of the day was history we went 11 for 14 and had a blast! i Just did inventory and replenished the lures that died in battle last year that’s always a sick feeling when you click submit and you realize you just spent $180 and you’re only getting 10 4â€pieces of balsa wood with a few hooks on them! Getting the boat out next weekend I will be ready when the conditions are!

LOL that’s a good answer !!! NICE BOAT let me know when you get sick of cleaning fish slime off that deck!

yeah tell me about it was at gander in buffalo yesterday i think they had maybe 10 NKs in stock no not 10 colors 10 spoons ,, and about the same for the rest of thier trolling gear but they have plenty of rubber worms

Got out at 7ish south wind was bad!! set up and went west to the stacks and back without a bite got past the east pear and the downrigger rod with the stinger FROG went screaming zzzzzz I put my buddy on the rod this was his first trip to the big O and his first salmon ever I have never seen someone shake so much in my life..... he dint stop talking about it the rest of the day. he is hooked for life!!!! The wind blew us off the water by 10:30 so we went to hemlock and caught 3 lakers and called it quits at 3

got the day off tomorrow but not sure where to go i havent seen any reports from i-bay or the genny.. anyone been out? if so please report

i never crushed anything i just got lucky while i was pike fishing if you really want to target walleye fish at nite and cast the shallows. i have fished the lake for years and the walleye will drive you nuts trying to figure them out your best bet is to go to the Avon angler tourneys 5/15 and 5/29 they are both held at night and it’s a good time to learn what strategies they are using to put fish in the boat…...
