I have used the palomar knot for more than 50 years all over the world with no problems at all. I recommend you wet the line with water prior to tying the knot. The knot will pull down easier and result in a stronger knot. When running stick baits, use a good quality cross lock snap ( roscoes are good) to match the line weight you are using. The stick baits swim better than when they are direct tied .

These are smaller in Diameter than the dipsey divers. Do you think they are running as deep as the dipsey with the same amount of line out ?

I use these on my Walkers with auto stop you have to Rout out the opening on the inside of the pulley wheel with a dremel tool and then sand til smooth. Has worked flawlessly for 8 years

Do these boards include the release clips, if so what are the releases ?

I tried to take apart my 320 to clean and check out drag washers. I dropped the reel on the table during disassembly and it came apart. I have tried to put it back together with no luck. Does anyone know anyone that can put my reel back together and clean and change out the drag washers for a reasonable price. This a 20 year old reel and it has been used a lot, it has never given me any problems. Thanks Terry

I own several Penn 310 reelks some of them are 20 years old they are very reliable with great draga. However last year I purchased 2 new 310s they are now made in Japan. the clickers on both of these reels failed shortly after I put them in service. I returned them to Penn for warranty work , they retuned the rels with new clickers installed. The new clickers failed as fast asthe original ones. Now for my question does anyone else know of this problem and if anyone is out there replacing or modifiding the reels so that the clickers are as good as the old 310s ?
