  5. I'm a school teacher living in Brewerton, NY. I am looking for a summer job working on a charter boat in the area. Fishing is what I live for and I am no stranger to setting up boards, riggers, filleting etc. I also am CPR and First Aid certified. I am an advisor of a fisheries club and have raised and released Land Locked Salmon, so I have a strong understanding of their science. I am well spoken and can interact with and take care of your customers very well. If any charters are in need of a mate please e-mail me at [email protected]

  8. The MWC record were set just out side the isthmus on the main lake side. I did very well there this time of year last year, with fish averaging 8-12lbs. This time of year I usually run deep Huskys and jr thunder sticks down 15-20 over 20-30. if that doesn't work move out and switch to reef runners. I like the gray ghost and the bare naked lady. As far as the huskys go the sun fire was hot last year...... let me know how you do, as my boat is going to be out of the shop next week and that general area will be where I will fish through august
  9. what did you take the northerns on and how deep? Did you try over through hardscrabble at all, thats always produces some nice ones
  10. where you after eyes? or was esox your mission.....
  11. I run off shores with the or-18, I personally like to get that board off then fight the fish.
  12. I make my own snap weights, and releases. And I always use alligator clips with shrink tube, they key is to get a few different sizes so you can layer them and heat and cool each layer. Especially with the drop weights you are paying a lot more than you should
  13. This is an orvis 7'9" silver label fly rod with an orvis clear water reel with an extra spool, reel comes with cortland 333 floating and sinking line.

  15. go with the off-shore they ride the best. then upgrade to the or-18 snapper release. the releases that come with them will pop off in rough water or when trolling at higher speeds, the or-18 has a snap system that wont come off. letting it slide down the line creates a hindrance, also when you start to run 4 or more boards they will be easier to tell if you get a strike because the boards will fall out of formation.
