  1. Last Friday we hung in there for the moon underfoot around 1-1;30 and the bite was on! I use Prime Times calender and believe in it. I still try to put all the time I can on the water or in the woods when I get to go. See you on the pond!
  2. Fantastic report! Never made the journey that far West but all I hear is good! See you on the pond!
  3. Hey Slow Rollin, Ive been there done that many times, do not despair. We fished Fairhaven Fri/Sat and really had to work for them. The best water for us was out in front of West Nine Mile 80-110 over 200 2.4 GPS. Mag Savant Holo Alewife on the riggers was our best with a Stinger Gobie 2nd, changed a lot of spoons out before we settled on those! Did not take a hit on the dipsey/flashers but they contributed to the spread because without them the spoons did not get bit. Hope this helps a little, keep on grinding and they will come. See you on the pond!
  4. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name:SHAKE-N-BAKE ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):7/15,7/16 Time on Water:14/13 Weather/Temp:Hot Wind Speed/Direction:NA Waves: NA Surface Temp: 73 Location:Fairhaven LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 26 Total Boated:21 Species Breakdown:Browns/Kings/ 1 Laker Hot Lure: Savant Holo Alewife Mag/Stinger Gobie Trolling Speed: 2.4 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 200 Lure Depth: 80-110 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Slow start for us Friday, lots of hooks 80 over 200 but no takers. We kept grinding and trolling East and around 1 pm (lunar major) things got better! The Browns liked the Gobie and they were gorgeous! Past West Nine Mile we lost a major on the 450 copper, my cousin had his hands full for quite awhile with that one! Out in front of the Green Can 200 ft we lost a high teens King at the back of the boat, that hurt! All fish on the riggers. Saturday we trolled back thru our waypoints from the previous day and they were productive! Laker right away on a dipsey/meat rig, first laker in awhile. Not long after a 10lb Brown on the Savant. Ended up Saturday with 3 Kings 15/18/5 and some more healthy Browns. Got a little tired/lazy and pulled my dipsey/flashers because they were not taking fish, the bite on the riggers stopped then so I put the flashers back down and the bite started again. Even though they were not taking fish they were important to our spread. It was a slow steady grind but we left Lake O with a smile again! See you on the pond! ====================

  18. Looking for a decent copper rod to marry up with a Convector CV 55L loaded with 450 ft copper. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks/tight lines to all
  19. I'm considering purchasing a pair of triple planer boards, my hope is that they will not lag as far back as my twin planer boards. Anyone using the triples? Any feedback greatly appreciated. For reference I'm using Cannons and Super Skis. Thanks/Tight lines to all!
  20. Added some glow tape to some of my Gators, if it outperforms the original Gator I'm going to be very impressed! Hoping for the best, I'll let you know how it works out! Tight lines!
  21. All good stuff, I use them all and like them all. In my case though it seems like the fish prefer the F9 Vampire so I normally end up trolling as many as I can! Tight lines!
