LOL good god, the best is when you have 2 or 3 guys that dont know how to back down a trailer and all they do is jack knife it for 15 minutes. Makes me wann arip em outta the car and back it down myself. Newburgh is always a Hole. Come 20 miles more North. You will be pleasantly surprised with the launches and alot less "City Folk". I am headed out today. I saw a picture of a 53 lber. Caught a few days ago, a buddy of mine caught 4 stripers yesterday and one still had very tight eggs in her (18lber) so she wasnt close to spawning which is good. There has been some active rolling going on for the past week or so, I would say the next week is going to be good then start dying off as they start heading back to the salt. Get em while the getting is good. GOod luck all.

I bought 25 Stingers before my maiden voyage up there this year. Every one we ran had paint come off them. Not alot but different amounts.

.02 cent time. For the people complaining about more and more people fishing in their area, well all i can say is that, you guys have a phenomenal fishery. I found that out 10+ years ago when i hired captains to take us fishing there and now that i am a boat owner i want to experience it on my own. If a few people in a spot upset you, come fish on a world renowned striped bass fishery literally on my back yard on the Hudson River. On a busy weekend day, you can see 150+ BOATS. ON A RIVER!!!!!!! Dont believe me? I will take you. All because someone wants to catch a bass. Well IMO. GO NUTS. theres a ton of fish in the river, just like in the lake, i have met some of my best friends bysharing sharing information on fishing. [ Post made via Android ]

I was running a clean spoon behind a clear dipsy this weekend up there, 9 ft behind the dipsy with 30 lb florocarbon, took 2 kings on that set up, rest where frog colored paddles with flys.

Interesting. On Monday we marked ALOT of kings out in front of Oswego and yesterday we didnt mark anything out there, do you think that South wind pushed them passed the point to where you guys were fishing?!?! Eitehr way, nice job on the fish!!!!!!
