    wow quite the article didn't have to read it all but yea like mentioned, the grass carp are not the asain carp they are different species. we are still safe for now!

    I was on the boat with my uncle (Mike) that day, we were glad to help you out and get you and your daughter back to shore safely! we passed you at one point later and even saw you hooked up! good way to turn the day around! pretty cool!

    You always wonder what colors look like down in our lake and the visibility down there. I came across this video of a diver on the st pete wreck near hughes marina last year, and it is cool to see how far you can see and what colors look like underwater at those depths as well as the ship which is being preserved in the cold water.     text me! I got one down there near tampa but i was there in august. my sisters bf was just down in boca grand last month and they landed 5 a guide i was with down there said thats where he goes out from to get any numbers! ill text u the pics and let you know who they went with!

    Im not a professional on transducer install but, what transducer did you put on? and you want to try to install as far from any disturbance as you can. such as the back of the boat as far from a rigger cable or prop wash as possible. or if you are doing a thru hull type you would mount that ahead of your motors, such as in the floor under the cuddy part of the cabin that was it is getting undisturbed water to read from. maybe have a front bilge area that is accessible?

    I am having thoughts on getting a bigger boat. But my boat fishes awesome, tons of room, does everything i need. Only thing i want is more speed! I currently have a 350 crate motor holley carb and edelbrock intake mani. on there now estimated 260hp. I am pretty good with motor stuff and have done a lot of work on my truck rebuilding the motor, and building the motor and high hp twin turbo set up on my car. So my thoughts are go bigger boat or... put a fuel injected 383 in there not looking for a race boat but to be able to go high 30's would be nice i can currently go around 27-28 top speed! I was curious if anyone is running one and has trolled with it. I may throw a kicker on but dont mind trolling with the big motor. Just want to know if anyone has one or knows anyone that has one in their boat and if they like it, it is a strocked and bored 350 so was curious if they would be fine idleing at 500rpm for extended time or if the cam's are too aggressive ( can put a low rise cam in as well) but looking to hear if anyone has any experience! or other motors in the 350ish hp range people run? other disadvantages to running fuel injection on the water?
