Yes it could be crappy out and 4-5 people could be sitting comfortably chatting it works out perfect with lots of storage. Was a lot of work building it between removing all the electrical that was there and making everything line up as it should! And figuring out a way to add in tackle storage and regular storage! U could do it online as well if u didn't want to go do the classes. I did all the stuff online and then just went took the finals once all the tests were passed. Boat has a 10' beam. And comes with electric planer board system with detachable arms that mount to the roof for trailering. My 2 cents is why not spend the 1500-2k. And do the time for the license and then not worry about it? If you spent 200k on boat stuff that should be a drop in the bucket. You do learn stuff that is useful in marine navigation and marine rules of the road. So its not like you are wasting your time taking the classes. : / and then u can charge for taking people out!
