  1. Mark, 7.29 LT 7.16 LT 6.1 LT 4.73 LT 4.40 LT I had a good weekend, but because i had 5 fish recorded i worry too much and get them back in the water, released a few that pushed 10 pounds sunday...O well!! Lost a big one too on sunday, Assume it was a Bow never saw it, but thats what the rig was targeting.. Get her next time!! red cross weekend!! Senecas gonna dominate again, sucks only a few of us troll seneca for it..
  2. next year i will make sure i have them for Ontario!! Slippin on the big pond next season!!
  3. ya, i almost bought osme of them!! its a good idea for kings but i think a bit unecessary for lakers.. Ill just back the drag off a click or two..
  4. IDK why i SAID 2 hahahaha ROFL!! Ray, No they werent tight at all...thats just it...couldnt figure out why, im gonna guess the wire line got caught in the roller on the rod, seems to happen once in a while on the Okuma Wire Line Specials(blue diamond series).... Those Tekotas are butter smooth, and i check the drag every time..hmmm
  5. Great report, i would love to see a FLX laker like that...fish is as old as me almost..
  6. Hey guys, Went on Seneca saturday and sunday. Wasnt long after we set the first line, we hit fish. Trolled north With constant action all morning. Did some nice/average fish. Almost Grand Slammed Satruday but lacked a brown! Ended the day with 20 fish. Mikey Burt made sure he redeemed himself too. Fish hit the wire and he lost it within 5 seconds, he sent the wire back down and didnt even get to take his hand off the rod and it fired again:) Good job mike. 250 copper, wires at 218-260, riggers 59-76. Today, we went out again, Joe, Jim and his boy Andy and found fish in the same location! Except today they wanted a east west troll. We hit fish on Copper. Leadcore, riggers and wires. 250 coppper produced. We were running west when the rod went, ripping line, get it 30 foot from copper/mono and the rod pops up, fish came off.. Got the spoon to the boat and the spoon looked like an accordion, I am assuming it was a rainbow, and hope it was, because it was a beast! We hit wires Constantly with the Seneca Special/Lap dance fly. the 10 color wasnt producing so i swapped it out and put the 5 out, 10 minutes later, wham! 6 lb salmon! That was a fun one to watch come in. We did alot of healthy native lakers the past two days, and i love seeing that. Kept 3 today, one laker and two landlocks, we went 10:15.. ran riggers at 59 and 72 and 91. all produced. Wires today were at 236 and 263. Didnt land any fish on cheaters but had a couple on as well. Before we quit, We took two MASSIVE hits on the wires. I have never seen my rods bend and hit the water when the fish hit. Weirdest thing, no hooks stuck on these 2...????? Red cross weekend soon, cant wait Nick

  12. this is funny...The prefishing rule was dumb..I believe they meant to say no weighing in prefished fish...?
  13. yeah, i have tracks, but i suppose if you were to pull the thumb screw out and use a machince screw and nut, you could do it..but i, not sure if i would use them for dipsys this way. The tracks take all the pressure.... they sell Short tracks? 6 inches?
  14. good report, didnt pull the ol' bill dance and jump in? Sunday evening when i left my slip, i wa walking to my car, and the entire tree was humming with those Bees, must be the time of year!!
  15. good report Jason. I do as Sean and Robert, I use Okuma Blue Diamond wire line Specials..9 foot. with all rollers and tekotas. I wind my swivels right tot he end, one to avoid the curls and two to avoid kinks. I tell everyone on the boat, dipsys get wound right till ya cant wind anymore. I get funny looks, but i dont lose and gear since i started it. I also have noticed thaat my wires since using the tekotas, run smoothero n and off the spool. My gl 47s sucked for that...I got alot of curls for some reason..might just be me?
  16. Hey duke, get on the water, 40 ft down I have 52 at the ball.... 75 foot i hat 48 today:)
  17. i saw two on ebay last night, black, plastic style i think they were the trax tech style, but should fit in the burts. 35 bucks plus 15 shipping..didnt seem bad.. 18. I had the same issue with my Merc 350 5.7 EFI. Come to find out, little zebra messels made their way into a 3 week old impellor and ruined it. Had to pull the boat to get it redone. My volvo 350 (current) is doint the same, except its not overheating it is just opening later on the stat. I believe it is sticking and I purchased a new stat for her this past week. Listen to Hank though, He knows his stuff and is a great guy. I still owe ya Hank!
