  2. borderline, good tip! Also, i run a merc 5-7 EFI and it too has the fuel smell in the oil. It is normal. As being a technician for diesel equipment, even these have the fuel smell in the engine oil. Remember, that your gas is burning on those il soaked piston walls ....suck..squeeze...bang....blow..

  5. i hear ya! I have some on my list as well! Fresh bottom paint, humminbird 788ci. decals, declas, decals. The most important of the season is a new canvas! Cant wait to see it. Hope to see you on the water soon sean! You sound like you will have quite a fuse panel!!

  12. well, i had it made at a metal fab shop here in elmira, but im sure you can take it to any metal working/weld shop out your way, they can even get you the aluminum, fyi aluminum is not cheap!!! but, i think it was around 300 bucks by the time i paid for the plate, and the fab work.
  13. yes, goingagain2, my trophy was the same way. it is a gel coat. they are small, almost like a hairline crack. you can try to cover them up, but they will coem back. just clean the boat well, and teak some wood, and you wont even notice plus, if you get that fish blood everywhere, its a good coverup

  16. our biggest was maybe 4 lbs...maybe. But all fish were pretty and fun on the lighter rods. And no Rod might post some soon
  17. Hey, what boat were you in? We went 4 for 4 over there in the bay from selkirk to nine mile. tought fishing in the clear water. Selkirk seemed to be the only murky water we could find. Good job on the steelie!!!

  24. the cracking noise can be due to te use of too much harender, it will make the noise, but still be strong. Will probably be good for one season
