  1. Hey there, there is one in watkins glen, ny well, the neighboring town, but it is set up for fishing, and has a kicker motor as well..nice looking boat. As to what shakesman said..why would you want a fishing boat not to fish?
  2. Nicks Is where my outdrive was assembled on my bayliner that i had, the seals blew out on the unit and smoked the drive!
  3. i run both, depends on what kind of approach youre looking for too, stealthy is a board scenario, plus you can stack lines on the boards, i like my riggers just as equally.
  4. i can bring up the electrical kit an we can tinker with it...

  6. Anyone looking to fish in the rain this weekend? If so, looking for a mate? ill pitch in for anything..
  7. i personally like roller rods with the use of copper, and the twilli tips with wire. I run my wire on 9ft Okuma Classic's, and my copper on 6'6" Penn roller rods. They seem to work great.
  8. rain, rain, and more rain, warm i think
  9. its gonna rain, dress dry! good luck and let us know how it goes...
  10. i run interstates marine/deep cycle, also, what motor do you have, te gentleman who shares a dock with me at the marina has a 150hp mercury, and it will only start on 100% battery power. if there is so mch an drop in juice it will not fire. He keeps solar chargers on the boat at all times
  11. Dave, i really like that rig!!!!!!
  12. between what buoy? it is shallow on one side. but i dont think the canal is shallow near the launch....that is anywhere from 6-12 feet
  13. how are the suckers looking? they schooling yet? they make it tough fishing, which is a good thing. Any size to the ones you saw make it?

  20. the uv protectant , makes a difference. I think armorall even makes one for the eisinglass as well. i use the uv treatment then wipe some rain-x wipes on it, i usually onnly have to clean them once or twice a season after doing this because of the trick, water and wipe bare hands, it really does work. I am getting a new canvas top made this yr as well, and im sure ill get a speach on caring for it. Ill post a response in a few weeks once its made
  21. The launch is a nice one. and the one you went to with the ate closed is a private launch, on the other side of the bridge is the public launch, but is too frozen to use. my boats going on the water in a month, that canal needs to thaw out right NOW!!!!
  22. the buffet sounds good.
  23. Hey Lew56, i mean its a fishing boat for sure, but i wanna "show off" the gear i guess. I just like the looks of it. We always have a fun time and i always let the young guys wind in some fish. The one boy michael, he loves the water and the fishing, his favorite part of all is keeping an eye on the Fish Finder, he makes sure we know each time a fish is marked and how deep, then runs to the back of the boat and checks the line counters on everything. GOOD KID! Also, i never carry the cooler off the boat, we throw them all back usually...But we have a blast. BillyV thanks.
