  3. i plan on ordering a simrad ap14 in the next week or so. any one know if they're backed up?
  4. so i was ready to get the card out and order up 2 rod/reel combos for some wire set ups. after some in depth research on lou i figured daiwa's accudepth 47 lc was the way to go. pretty much every one is sold out. cabelas was advertising that in a combo for 59$. Back ordered for 4-6 weeks! so, i took i ride over 2 Dick's. they had 2 47lc's on daiwa 9'6" dipsey rods for 79$ i got them both for 69$. now i need to go see a-tom-mic for the rest of the goodies.
  5. i remember a few years ago, last boat.. it just would not start. tried all the tricks, no-go. after the air was polluted with 4-letter words, i figured out the safety lanyard was off.
  6. it looked usable today jeremy. lake was flat. Dave
  7. sooo... went to check on the Reelhard II today. she was hibernating behind a 3' snow drift. Mr. Gordy said he'd dig it out with his backhoe after church. I'm impatient, did it by hand & drug it home and now it's in the driveway.. wifey's .. oh well... we took the long way around today, stopping at seneca, and then t-falls on cayuga on the way home. saw lots of empty boat trailers at both launches. i'm so jealous of you guys, looked like a beautiful day out there. I'm adding 24" cannon tracks to both sides of the boat with 2 cannon rod holders for each. they're a little expensive, but WOW on the quality. i hope to run wire w/a flasher/fly behind a dipsey. this is new to me but with the guidance of the outstanding people of lou we should figure it out. also in the works is a simrad ap14r. good luck and safe fishing in 2010. Dave

  9. i have a 97 225 outrage ht with a 350 merc. i plan on getting the ap14r as soon as i save enough $. will i need to replace the steering cable? i'm not sure as to which type of steering the boat has(its new to me&in storage right now). also, any suggestions for dealers? prices seem to be pretty much the same everywhere, but customer service is important.
