Landed this big boy yesterday on the 6lb noodle rod.

Fished sunday and limted in 2 1/2 hours. Enjoy

1.8 -2.0 is a good speed. It allows us to still walleye fish but catch lakers as well. Dont over think it, there is 3 really good year classes of fish and always on the feed. Any of the spoons listed, back 20-50' on the riggers will do the trick.

Anything Green,white and glow works good, Black and white works well too.. NK's, dreamweavers, moonshines it doesnt matter.. What kind of speed are you trolling ?

Fished sunday with the 10' 6" noodle rods spooled with 6lb test for lakers while fishing for eyes. The walleye fishing on sunday was tough but the lakers were a different story. This is as close to ontario fishing as I get for erie... My wife and I landed 5 and dropped 2 in a couple hours. One of which would not leave the bottom (probably a low to mid 20's) The biggest we landed was around 14lbs.. I do this every year and have a blast.. Enjoy the photos

Thanks to all ! Ray, The gun is a savage 243, it comes stock in pink muddy girl camo. She saw it this summer and had to have it, she worked all summer and bought it herself.

I sat with her in the morning and we watched many doe and fawns cruising and she even got some pictures on her phone. Eventually, a doe we wanted to take came through and I turned her loose. she made a great shot... In the evening we sat in the same spot and I told her to watch a small area that is generally productive. about 3:30 she said theres a deer !. I turned a see a grey face about 225 yards through the woods, i knew ! after watching him for a few minutes she kept telling me she had a clear shot (i questioned multiple times) I told her to take it. I kept saying "just squeeze the trigger" She thread the needle beautifully, putting it right in the bolier room ! What a proud moment!!
