    I shoot the savage 212...I used to pair it with the barnes expanders exclusively but since no longer in production I had to find another option. The closest thing I have found is the hornady superformance. I used them last year and like them a lot. They hit hard and pattern well. Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    I will agree with the savage bolt action 220 but I prefer the 212, have had it for around 18 years. Fantastic shooting slug gun.. but, I was able to find a bolt gun that's a bit nicer. 3 years ago I bought the browning a-bolt slug gun. It shoots as good, if not a bit better out to 175 yards, feels much better with swelled palm grip and soft rubber texture that doesnt slip.
