Well, got it done last night. This buck is over 200lb and 5 and a half year old (believe it or not) have pictures from last 4 years and his rack hasn't changed much other than gaining mass but his body is massive. Funny story. There is a field next to a heavy traveled road on my way to work that always has a bird or 2 in it daily. Been watching for the last few weeks as there has been different guys trying to hunt it. Some days I could see the guys setup on the edge and the birds strutting in the field. Last week or so, I have only been seeing the hens so I figured the were successful. Yesterday guys were there and again only hens. Then comes June 1st .... big boy was right in the middle in full strut!!! Made me giggle. Well, roosted another long beard last night but had to work at 7:00 this a.m.. thought I'd give it a quick hunt and see.
