  1. Yeah I'm a south end guy. But all that rain destroyed the fishing down their so play at Sampson for awhile I guess lol
  2. Yeah I don't have electronics on the boat still working on that so I had no idea about the bait I just assumed their was a lot around and I guess I was right!! And the name is joe by the way I'm sure are paths will cross here soon on the lake
  3. Nice report and maybe it's just me but I have always found Sampson to be a incredible evening bite so I kinda find it funny that you didn't have more action although the bigger fish I was getting this past weekend did seem to be on the feed at around 11 so maybe they are feeding mid day?!?!? That's fishing always giving you something to think about
  4. Thanks and yeah still working the bugs out just takes time is all few more trips. And the fleas this passed weekend where around but more then manageable I have seen them a lot worse at times all in all good times had on the water and will be back at it this weekend
  5. Launched out of Sampson Saturday morning still trying to get some fishing time on the new boat, and get the bugs worked out. Set up right out of the shoot ran 2 riggers 4 divers 2 cores and a 300 copper, and as it seems to be with that area it didn't take long to get into fish the boards stayed quiet for most of the morning with a fish from time to time just to let us know they are still around pulled a 10 color core and a 5 color with a variety of spoons no real MVP on either of those.... It would turn into a diver and rigger bite consistently pulling decent lakers all in that 4 to 6lbs class. The riggers where parked 93 and 121 both fired steady 93 rigger had a grease trap and the 121 had a blue dot spinny that same spinny would also come back into play on Sunday, fished till about 11 then headed in 10 fish in the box with others released.... Hit the water again Sunday morning this time with a new plan launched from severne and headed to a great brown spot set down at about 7 not a early start went in to 50fow and was meet by the mother load of floating weeds fought the weeds for a while with no luck on fish just constant cleaning. So decided to make the move back to Sampson ran up the lake and start back down a little after 9 keeping it simple this time ran a 4 rod spread of 2 riggers and 2 divers the 250 diver would fire first after just having the clicking stop from going out same size fish as before. And the games began the fish where ready to play and the size increased this time the 121 rigger would fire had the rod off and the fights on get the fish to the surface looking like a better fish and pop line snappes bye bye paddle oh well no harm no foul. Up the leader size just a little and back at it divers firing consistently 250 to 298 and then another good on on the 250 diver lost right at the back of the boat I was not able to reach the fish with the net for I am vertically challenged I have the same problem getting rods from some rocket launchers, well after pulling tournament tie out of my arm from when it popped we set the rods back got reorganized and continued to fish we would go on to add the 300 copper and 5 color to the spread picked lines at around noon was not counting fish just know we both did a lot of reeling with no complaining. Great weekend on the water. Be back next weekend
  6. That's a fishing machine by the looks of it. I am sorry to say that I am not interested in the boat although sure looks nice but would you be willing to sell just the elite 7
  7. Nice fish good report Seneca gives it up from time to time
  8. I would also be interested in the 2 Perko rod holders if they have not sold
  9. Ok thank you if he backs out I will make plans to get them
  10. Do you still have the spin doctors and paddles
  11. Awesome job and congrats on some great bows
  12. I have a pair of walker riggers I am trying to sell or even trade. They are electrics not the fastest in the world but they work i used 10lbs weights and they handle those fine. they have long booms on them and can be slid in to shorten them. I am asking 350 for the pair and will also include a set of 8lbs weights. For some reason I am not able to post the pics if interested feel free to call or text 6074265005, an I can send pics that way or via email.. Thank you joe
  13. Yep can't lie crew from Seneca struggled to get the lakers going but did have all 5 fish to weigh in, congrats on the win. Could always make it interesting and defend that cup on Seneca waters
  14. First pic was 3 rainbows and 2 lakers the second pic was brown and rainbow
  15. What did you have in mind for the action???
  16. Nice report duke, good job always fun fishing with and also against you😎 haha. And the club events are a good time but now it's time to head to Cayuga and see what damage a crew of Seneca guys can do or what trouble we can cause!!!
  17. I have to agree with the middle of the lake and the areas mentioned I have had great luck playing around out their.
  18. I have the 4s and it's also not letting me post pic it shows the camera option but won't let me select my albums and I have post before not sure what has changed
  19. Went into the weekend thinking and preparing all week for finger lakes troll club tournament annual Seneca cup. Was not able to get out and fish Saturday morning had to do the work deal, but after getting to Watkins Saturday mid day and adding some new hardware to the northport and completely rebuilding my starboard side rigger I was looking for some lake time. Ended up jumping on a buddy's boat having mixed reports from the morning I was not holding high hopes set up just north of the salt plant and instantly started catching fish spoon diver at 107 out and riggers at 35 and 45 down did the damage well after going 9 for 10 in under 2 hours with a few very nice salmon I had a lot of thinking to do. Ended up sticking to my guns launched at Sampson and went for it all. Took a while to find them but when we did it was on once again spoon diver at 107 with a spoon that I don't know the name of and can't find any more was consistently catching us some silvers also 5 and 7 color cores with puss n boots and also agent orange produced fish. But the big weenie grease trap on the 90 rigger and a white green dot spinny on the 215 diver where consistently pulling some decent lake trout all in that 6lbs class. Which Proved to be enough for my first win in the club tournaments. Good job to all others that fished I always enjoy the weighins and the story's that come with them. Also set the 15' north port troller up to run 4 divers and went flawlessly.
  20. One day?? iron duke, you know as well as I do hit the right spot on that lake and it only takes 25 min to get four on and be all the species at once!!!
