  1. For me personally, you just can’t beat fall. Salmon off the piers, deer hunting, musky chasing, float fishing and waterfowl(which I haven’t gotten around to yet, but will). Nothing beats that crisp cool air and the opportunities that await. Enjoy some of my highlights so far.
  2. Another doe down. Freezer is filled!
  3. Grey fox
  4. Took my best buck to date this morning. Not a giant, but I was shaking after the shot……and that what it’s all about. I made a perfect heart shot at 20 yards. He trotted 15 yards from the shot, stood there for 10 seconds and fell right over. The deer died in less than 45 seconds. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Time to catch a few fish before gun opens.
  5. That’s unbelievable. What is wrong with people
  6. Quick sit this morning before work. Had a Tom hammering on the limb as the sun came up which was pretty cool. Ended up seeing 3 raccoons, 5 turkeys(3 Tom’s), and a doe that worked through just inside of 50 yards. Can’t complain. Beautiful morning to be out.
  7. Can I see more pictures
  8. Meat in the freezer. Blessed to be able to take this doe on my first sit of the season this morning.
  9. Were you sleeping lol
  10. I’ll be praying for them in this hard time
  11. I bet a bass shiner would work just fine
  12. Are all the connects tight? I had this happened to me, and my ground had come loose. Quick fix
  13. Anyone know why they are closing the launch and lot?
  14. I personally wouldn’t mind going out, but I have salmon to chase
  15. I have not, but I’m sure if you could keep the blade spinning it would definitely work
  16. I wasn’t , but we have cold water on shore right now and kings have been taken in 20fow the last couple days
  17. It really is a bummer they don’t make them anymore. That medium heavy is an awesome casting rod for salmon
  18. Lunch breaks have been good to me this week! Bring on the kings and deer!
  19. No snubber. 25lb trilene 100% flouro
  20. Ended up grabbing three salmon before that storm rolled through, and then the bite died. I had mentioned lake trout to the them, and they said they would like to try and catch a few of those. Pulled all the rods and headed in and worked 80 to 100fow. Put two gambler rigs down on the riggers. Couldn’t keep two rods in the water for the next two hours. They had a blast and were able to cross chinook salmon and lake trout of their list!
  21. A friend asked me if I could take a couple of his friends out from Carolina today. They would really like to catch a salmon. I haven’t been out in awhile. We are going to launch out of braddocks around 3. Anyone doing anything today?
  22. Outstanding! It’s a very fun bite
