  1. Rented a house this weekend on the lake down by the oak for my wife and myself for our anniversary. We are bringing the boat with us and would like to get out at least once. Any good reports out of the oak lately?
  2. Thanks to all who donated! Our team ended up raising just under 7,000 dollars for Rochester Adult and Teen challenge rehab program! Due to weather, we ended up switching to the trout and salmon division earlier this week and decided to grind it out on Cayuga today. Weather was challenging, but we ended up taking first place in the trout and salmon division. Thanks again everybody for your support.
  3. Free sliding cheaters on a 8 to 10ft lead. Only run them when your main lure is a spoon. Running them with a spin doctor as a main is asking for a mess. I’ve had very good luck on sliding cheaters. When that temp is high in the column, I’ve had mature kings hit the sliding cheaters on my 40 rigger, which would only put the cheater about 20 feet down. Great for picking up steelhead and cohos higher in the column
  4. Same story for us today. Fished first light till 9:45. Ended 2/5. Worked 80 to 280. 140 to 160 was most productive. We did lose a nice king that broke the flasher fly leader 😭. I had caught a lot of fish on that fly. It must have had a knick in the leader
  5. I will definitely keep you guys posted! It will be next weekend the 18th. The have different divisions, and my dad wanted to enter the bass division. We will likely be on Erie chasing smallmouth weather permitting. Backup plan will be the Lower Niagara river. Should be a good time.
  6. So as long as the waves are manageable, you will be good to go
  7. It will just depend on the lake forecast
  8. I greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
  9. Thanks so much Bill! It is greatly appreciated
  10. Hey guys, I figured I would throw this out there since it’s a good cause. My dad and I will be fishing a tournament next weekend as a fundraiser to benefit the Rochester Adult and Teen challenge. It is an addiction recovery program in Rochester. We are looking for sponsors and donations for our team. All proceeds would go directly to Rochester Adult and Teen Challenge. Here is the link if you would like to support the cause https://www.classy.org/team/426339 Thanks, Manny
  11. Torpedo divers and chinook/dipsy divers
  12. I also have some versatrack cannon rod holders if you are interested
  13. I have two brand new one. I was going to buy a tracker so I bought them, but ended up buying an alumacraft. I’ll sell them to you for 80 a piece
  14. Got out with ShawnJ yesterday evening to help him dial in his new StarCraft Fishmaster 196 👌🏼. Very nice boat. Got lines in about 5:15 and had a steady pick until we pulled the last rod around 8:30. Finished 6/10 with 4 kings, an Atlantic, and a laker. Fished 80 to 180. Riggers parked from 40 to 60 both with sliders. Divers at 30 and 50 both with flasher flies, and torpedo divers on the boards down 20 and 30. All methods took fish last night. Nice teenage king smashed the ff on the diver. Always fun watching those diver hits! Good luck out in the water this weekend
  15. Wasn’t the Hudson, but went out of Newport, RI this past weekend and we landed a couple beauties!
  16. Thanks Bill! What a crazy hunt Tommy had today too!!!
  17. I don’t know what I’m thinking lol. I’m sorry, you are completely right. I wasn’t even associating it was May because I’m usually chasing walleye as soon as it open, but I haven’t because I’ve been chasing turkeys this year. Good luck out there
  18. Was a good morning to be in the woods!
  19. Not trying to give you a hard time, but it’s illegal to target pike right now. If you are going to do it, I wouldn’t post that you are doing it. Good luck out there
