Not sure if you've seen or heard of it yet but this walleye copper seems like it could have a place in your arsenal Kevin. And besides who doesn't need 4 or 5 more set ups kicking around lol http://bloodruntackle.gostorego.com/walleye-fishing-line-mono-stickbait-crawler-harness-trolling-drifting-leader/walleye-copper-wire-100yd-spool.html Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

There's no weight listed on the title but if I were to guess id say around 2000lbs or less loaded with fuel, 37 gallon tank. Tows easily but rides better than other aluminum cuddys that are a couple feet bigger that I've ridden in. No rattling or pounding in bigger waves so long as you don't try to go wide open Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

If anyone is looking to learn how to catch walleyes in the eastern basin captain gene on sunken treasure charters is by far your best best! He's personally taught me all I know about walleye fishing, and trolling in general. You won't find another captain more excited and capable of putting you on all species on this end of the lake Sent from my C811 4G using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Had a great start to the season today, fished with two newbies who were experiencing their first opening day on Ontario. Lines were in the water by 5:45am and the first fish was in the boat 10mins later. Started to get nervous as we then went close to an hour without a bite. After a quick location change we boxed number 2 for the day. Setting a waypoint, we circled back around and like clockwork as soon as we hit our mark I got to land my first eye of the '14 season. The next couple passes were a blur as we boated 5 more, consisting of a double followed by a triple. With 8 in the cooler and not even being 10am we decided it was time to go hunt for a LOC fish since the class of fish on this spot were in the 5-7lb range. After switching to our 3rd spot of the day we quickly landed number 9 for the morning. Being on the smaller side, we let it go to swim another day. We would then go on to catch and release one and drop another. Then it got slow. Didn't move a rod for about 2 hours. A decision was made to return to our original hot spot and finish out our limit regardless of size. That would prove easier said than done. After tail hooking a gar and hand lining a 10lb or so northern during a small fiasco, we finally got our limit fish and called it a day. All in all a great open to the season. While we didn't find the big girl yet the guys had a blast and took home some fillets to boot. Hope everyone else had a good day and enjoyed the nice weather mother nature graced us with.
