Sounds awesome out there. Never been over 300. Someday id love to get out there but the 1967 16 starcraft keeps me inside.

Started early at 130fow. Set down on a good screen but nothing and it faded away. Worked out to 260ish and blank screen. Had cold water. no hits on spoons meat and spindoctors. worked back in and sent out a Hammerhead cow bell and Gambler spin and glow. 10min. One of, if not my best lakers. 3 more and we called the kids, went in picked them up. Nice to get them out for a few including a double up.Plus a great brown on that setup. 2 dipsy w spoons took nothing in that area the whole time. lakers keep the lines moving and the flees off too.

Drove out to 160 and fished NE to almost 300. Got 4 in a row but then only two more misses. All bites on NE troll. Steelhead on a 120 dipsey meat rig. All other salmon on seasick waddler NK spoons on 60 riggers. Started rough and only fished three rods w waves and current. Didn't mark much at all. nice to get out. flees inside were bad.

Sounds like the DEC is looking into a permit to treat the water chestnut invasive species in Long Pond. Treating 25 acres sometime near end of July. pretty wild seed. Almost thought it was going to start crawling around. Hoist was in the water for a couple weeks and it had a few on it. There is a pile of weeds near the parkway bridge.

Great post. Always good double check, also helps getting to everything quick when You need it! Got one of these electronic flairs for Christmas. Haven't used it but maybe you don't have to buy flairs every couple of years. Anyone know if it meets all the rules? the old flares have always worked too. Nice to teach people how to ignite and hold. Maybe start a fire.

Anyone have a guesstimate on how many fish are being caught vs total population? Just wondering if it is on the radar, so to speak. also if all these fish are released and die where do they all go? Few seagull bites and they sink?
