Reel Overtime

I am a walleye fisherman from erie, Boat is 26' and has autopilot, lawerance color hds8, garmin g.p.s., rod holders, down riggers, planer mast and big boards, I have 8.5 med. rods with 15# mono, 20# braid, and also 18# 7 color lead on two. Now the ? is what other rods and lines,?? (copper or wire) and how will i run these? I want to start fishing salmon so thanks for your help. Thanks.

I had looked at a 2001 penn yan with 300 hrs, 28' sea tracker hard top that was at arnies marina, sodus point, as of sept they still had it, I decided that I needed to stay with a smaller boat, you should check with them, loaded up nice and like $39,000.

I have a new sport pilot installed from Anchor marine in Erie PA. This is the second unit i have owned, Firsh one on a four winns and this just installed on a 2600 striper, Unit installed cost about $3000.00 , only think is they are noisey while operating. I cant fish without one and my wife likes it also. This is for a cable steer and mounted on the helm, boat wt. under 7000#

I have a lawerance mt 15 with gps antenna that came with a boat I just bought, It works good and looks good, Also have a lawerance x 125 that i purchased from gander mt. and used for two years, They were replaced with a hds-8 color. Make me a reasonable offer?

I have two in floor fish boxes that have the soft spongie feel when walked on, the hatch is not cracked yet so I'd like to take care of this soon, How do I fix these or is this a job for the marina.

Just purchased a pair of big jon captains but now wonder how to mount? Do the gimble mounts work good,(slide in rod holder) are they strong enough, I like the idea of just pulling them out and locking riggers inside boat when not used,

I take my golden retriever (Buddy) walleye fishing on erie every time, he loves it. he gets to play with the white bass and perch but the eyes go in the box. He gets on full alert when he hears a reel turn and awaits the fish on deck. Its great .

I have a hds 8 and a shoot thru mounted in middle of boat in bilge are and i like this because it dont track downrigger balls.

Had a sport pilot on last boat and i am now taking the new (to me) 2600 seaswirl to anchor marine in erie to install a new one today, I love it.

Seems like more scottys, but why? Are they more reliable, user frendly, better quality? I was looking at the big jon captains.

Just purchased a seaswirl 2600 and wondered which downrigger you would buy if it was you? I used manual penns, and electric cannon but what about walker or big jon? I will buy electrics. Thanks Rick

This is a nice trolling boat, we fish 10 rods in erie for eyes, lets talk if your interested. motor runs great with carb rebuild from anchor marine(2011), new seat cushions 2010, nice open deck with no motor well to work around,(flat deck) auto pilot, riggers,boards,wash down pump,anchor, top with sides and back drop cover, lots of boat for little money, will be winterizing soon so call now for test ride.

Boat is back home in St. Marys PA.15857, Will sell without fishing equiptment if someone just wants the boat. Lets talk about price???. This boat is towed by a half ton avalanch, easy to tow.

I bought mine from marine deals also and had it installed by anchor marine in erie, found out they have them there and are raymarine certified techs. install was about five hundred, this is great on my 26' four winns, noisey ya but great to have. good luck with yours.
