    The spot pilot is no longer made, I have owned two but will not buy another, you can look for an octopus drive unit to fit your boat, It replaces the helm.

    Thanks for replays and I agree with not running wot I have ask the above because I'm trying to sell my boat and as soon as they hear hrs. Wow too many. I agree proper maint. Care while running. All play a part. My last boat had 2500 on and than issue with how it was winterized. I have trucks with 150000 and still run great. Change oil often. Grease. Even when the avg guy puts 50-100 hrs a yr on a boat I think it is best to just use the main engine to troll. What's your avg per yr. hrs?

    Wondering your thoughts??? If I have 1200hrs on my boat is that like having 60000miles on a truck,( estimating 50mph), with proper maint. is this really an issue?? I have a 5.7 with 1200 hrs, maintained right, no issues, don't expect any anytime soon, should I ?? computer scan was great and most hrs are at trolling, Thoughts?? Thanks Rick

    I have a sport pilot and it works great, I had one on a 28' four winns and now have one one the 26' striper, I cant fish with out it,, I did have it installed by the marina though, I had no time but it would be easy.. Good luck Rick

    I am selling my boat to go bigger, this is a 26' striper, 350 Volvo (320hp) I/O, great shape, no issues, marina maintained, garage kept most of its life, you cant tell it a 2001, trolled lake Michigan and Erie, My wife tows this with a half ton truck.. tows easy... Has a raymarine sport pilot, Lawrence hds-8, garmin gps, marine radio, Rod arch, 5' trex tech tracks on each side and rod holders, big jon down riggers, big jon planers reels, canvas top with drop back and sides, in floor fish boxes, live well, wash down pump, port a jon, trailer with new tires, ready to go, I will take $27,000 or best offer..
