  4. Went out solo. Was a busy morn. Started100fow north troll. Broke a mature salmon off the 200 dipsey over 120 fow with FF. Check all your leaders. My bad. My lines and leaders were all in rough shape after inspection. Turned back at 150 then lite up my rods for about 30 min straight over 120 fow and 85 down. 2 lakers and two mature salmon. Thank goodness for the auto pilot as my mate! Saw a bunch of other folks fishing around the same area so it might be the hot area for the day. 16. A friend asked me to suggest a charter on the north end of Canandaigua. I'm not familiar with anyone short of searching cold - does anyone know of a charter they would recommend from experience? I guess it doesn't have to be the North end - they could drive to the South end if need be. Appreciate any responses where you can give a decent reference for me!
  17. Wow. You guys were a bit deeper than I was. I had 42 degrees at 50 down so didnt drop below that. We did ok but maybe I should of pushed one deeper to try.
  18. Holy cow that fog was scary. We hit it about 930 heading into port over 100fow. Took us a while. Bet it took forever if I were way out. Yes. Lots of honking!
  19. Fished sat am. 54 degrees at the top almost to the bottom out to 130 fow. Picked up kings in the 20 to 40 range over 170 to 225 fow. Green and yellow spoons did all the damage. Nothing on flies that day.
  20. Agree. This forum, especially in the hamlin and roch area is great. I should be out sat and will letvfolks know if i find a honey hole. 😄 Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  22. Hey guys. Txs for the responses. Les. Good Q. Im running big boards about 100 from boat with sticks on mono and no weights. Figured maybe i could get a bow in the top layer of 55 degree water I just setup a 3 color for the riggers and now that dvd mentions lead, it could work out on the boards... Thanks. Bazooka. I will mix in some red and orange spoons. Txs. What works for the browns this time of year? More towards the spoons now vs sticks?
  23. Not having any luck running my boards and wantbto reach out for some advice. Was out this past weekend of thevgenny around 100-150 fow. Took a few rainbows in the top 30 fow on rigger and dipsey but nothing off the boards. Off the boards i ran stick baits and let them dive on thier own. No extra sinkers. Am i missing any good techniques? No experience running boards so appreciate any help.
