  1. frisco, was that you in the lund? we were in the c.c. we gave up on finding larger salmon.
  2. launched out of the south end around 6:30. got lots of small ll on the west side in about 100ft of water, we could not even get the boards on. the salmon were hitting as soon as the 5th color of leadcore was off the reel.caught and released about 10 on 1 pass up to the salt plant.later that morn. we headed out to 150ft or so, lake trout were hot on f.f. and hot michigan dolphin spoons on riggers down 135ft.caught 2 lake trout over 30". we went 8 for 12 on lake trout and lost 1 nice brown at the boat.conditions were perfect and the lake was like glass most of the day.

  8. i am in eed of some trolling fly tubes to help control the mess, please help.
  9. i take a trip to canada every year to fill the freezer with crappie, perch, and walleye. i have been using the mister twister knife for 7 years now with no problems. we usually fillet about 350 fish at a time, the knife gets pretty warm but never fails me.
  10. whoever put the breakable lights at the top of the screen on this site RULES. move your cursor onto the lights and they break, who would have thought this would be entertaining.
  11. use a volt meter with a dc scale that measures zero to 1 volt.put your boat in the water and lower the rigger weights about 10 ft. put the neg lead from reader to the neg battery terminal, and the positive lead to the rigger cable.turn everything electrical off and you should have a voltage reading of .7 to .8 volts, if not then you have a problem. from there you can start trouble shooting to isolate the problem. the black box can adjust the voltage for you.you can select and adjust the voltage to attract different species of fish.
  12. not sure about hull materials. i run a fiberglass hull and have some kind of problem.i think it comes from the riggers, i ran manuals prior this year with no problems.this seems to have started when i switched to electric.
