    Problem isn’t the channel. Shallow part is actually in the lake. Dredge it all you want, north wind storms will still blow the sand in. Braddocks Bay is not considered to be a navigable waterway.

    Kids are in South Dakota bow hunting deer. No deer yet but Tommy found some cool sheds.

    Was in this morning and saw what at first I thought was a black cat. As it came through it looked like a jet black mink on steroids. Was it a weasel? It was really cool to see. Probably 24 to 30 inches nose to end of tail.

    Passed on the pretty nine tonight at 22 yards. Very pretty deer. Got a quick cell pic as he walked by.

    Drove by this morning and the posted signs have been removed.

    Just put two posted signs ten yards into our field just north of their driveway. If they’re gone when the sheriff gets there just more proof of trespassing and theft.

    Funny thing is they aren’t hunters. Probably don’t know what a trail cam is. They’re going to learn. You would think the visit to their house would have been enough. English appears to be a second language to them, hopefully a visit from my friend delivers the message.

    Didn’t see a deer tonight but it’s one of those spots, feast or famine. Probably hit Somerville in the morning. would rather fish a trib but waters a little low.

    In for the evening sit. Rain for the most part has passed. Deer should be moving.

    I don’t duck hunt anymore but when they green light killing those birds I’m going to get after them. Ideally an open season, could have killed a bunch of them trolling this summer.
