  1. Fished till 1130 in 100 to 110. Riggers down 90 and 100. Caught 5 Browns 2 small Kings and a pretty Atlantic. Dipsy rods never took a hit.
  2. Hopefully the northwest wind didn’t blow in warm water.
  3. Short window for me in the am, going to drop in 300 and work northwest.
  4. Was hoping to look for Browns in the morning and had a little time to check temps this afternoon. Northwest wind blew in a bunch of crap warm water. 74 surface in 100 and 73 100 down. Slid out to 200 and still warm down.
  5. That’s great!
  6. Ding ding ding we have a winner! great job
  7. Dead Sturgeon off Braddocks last night. Sucks it died but cool they’re out there
  8. Took a friend and his two young sons out at 6. Set up in 150 at 630 and headed northwest. Yesterday’s north east wind blew in some cold water, 50 degrees was down 50. Spin Dr down 50, mag spoon down 40. Went 3 for 4 and headed back around 9. Dipsy rods never took a hit. Current and fleas were a pain but manageable. Kids had a ball. No Lampreys no lakers!
  9. I’m heading out a little east of you but not much. Hard to say what the wind blew in temp wise. Im setting in 100, finding 50 ish down and working north west. See what I come across.
  10. When you reel in your line, and it’s on the surface, lower your rod tip to the water and rip up. 85% of them will come off.
  11. Obviously you’ve never seen a Brown trout…..
  12. Never know what you’re going to catch lol.
  13. Working some of my own. Love watching it grow and the deer that come in.
  14. Lake is about 6 miles long. Crazy thing is it has a good population of Alewives. Bass, Tigers, Browns and Walleye grow crazy big there. Not the easiest lake to pattern but there is always the chance at a monster. That Tiger was probably 8 lbs and 32 inches. Just guessing. Lake holds Tigers that are 30lbs. Some day lol.
  15. Spent the day with Justin Okrepki on Otisco today. I fish with him a couple times or more every year. As always it was awesome. I can’t say more about that lake and the opportunities it offers. Justin is all in when it comes to fishing and I love watching him work. If you want a change of pace, a day on the lake with him is a great value and always fun. He has an RV on site to stay in which is a huge plus if you’re taking the drive. Highly recommend.
  16. I run 100lb same diameter as 30lb mono zero issues
  17. Dickey and I were out from 630 to 10 looking for Browns. Found them but as has been the case for me lately no big ones. Did get a decent king out of temp. Went with my wife from noon to 230 in 200 to 300 looking for Kings. Found a few but again nothing big. Beautiful day on the water. Fleas were in pretty thick but contrary to popular belief were more of a pain on 30lb big game than they were on my braided dipsys. Happy Fourth to all.
