    Flea flicker line made by cortland does the trick. The fleas are bad right now and usually 30lb test works, but that getting fleas now. The flea flicker line comes up with little to no fleas.

    I could use some info on lake trout fishing? I hear about cow bells? what do you put as a lure on the cow bells? Any help fishing for them would be great, fishing out of port bay.

    I mess up posting again i wanted to know if running straight 20lb mono to the sticks baits are ok or is a leader like fluorocarbon is needed and what kind of terminal tackle needed and what pound test leader? Thanks for any info

    I was wondering what the best way to attach your line to stick baits for browns. Do you just tie a rapala knot and if so do you remove the split ring that comes on it when you buy it? or should i just use a snap swivel so i can change the lure more quickly? Thanks, i'll take any spring trolling hints i can get, new to it.

    I don't know why my question didn't post but here it is again. I'm new to port bay, bought a cottage last fall and was wondering when they normally open up the inlet? Any info on the brown trout fishing outside that inlet?
