    Hey guys - I put together a trip for some business customers this Thursday on Owasco out of Emerson. We've fished the lake a few times before in the summer months and done pretty well on Rainbows and Lakers, but haven't fished it this early before. Looking for any help/Intel from guys who have been out recently. Not sure if fish will still be in the shallows or not. Any help is very much appreciated!     Great discussion on bags. I run two 22" Amish bags on an 18ft Lund. Great stabilizer and easy to deploy. The one thing to keep in mind though is to not forget to pull them before hitting the throttle to go to a new spot!!!     Should've taken your advice. Went to owasco. Fished 10' out to 130'. Divers, leadcore and flat lining plugs. Not one take. Only thing we marked consistently was Lakers down 105-115 on bottom Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Morning guys - Looking to get the boat wet for the first time this season Sunday morning. Haven't fished this early in the season before so looking for some advice on whether to hit owasco, skaneateles or Cayuga to start. Trolling set up with everything but riggers. Help appreciated.     Launched out of Mexico yesterday at 6a. Ran out in front of the SR and started a N troll out to 150'. Picked up 1 17lb King. Ran out to 370 fow, went 1 for 3.     Hey Troller, We set up on the 29th as well. Launched out of Emerson and setup a South troll on the west shore in 100-115 fow at 645a. Picked up a 10lb bow off a purple uv spoon back 165' at 715. Picked up 2 more small Lakers on the south troll then turned back North, again in 115'. Picked up a couple more small Lakers, then tripled just past the small cove on the east shore. Lakers were 7-8lbs each. Purple diver/purple uv stingers produced the best for us. Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    First time on Cayuga for us today. Fished 5:30 - 10a between sheldrake point and Dean's. Went 5-10 all Lakers 80-110 fow with most all Lakers parked at 70. Divers back 200-220 took virtually every hit. Had a Laker hit the diver scream up the water column and jump out of the water at least 6' in the air...did it twice! Never seen a Laker do that.
