Interested in everyone's thoughts on a preferred box for uv and/or glow spoons and plugs. Ideally I'd like to find one with a car charger plug to use while on the boat. Lots of them floating around the internet and always leary of fake claims/products. Thanks. Sent from my moto g stylus using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Hey guys, I'm looking to move to a hardwired VHF Radio and Antenna this spring on a 2016 Lund Rebel XS Sport. We trailer the boat around a bit so wondering what everyone recommends for an antenna setup that works well but can also be "stowed" for trailering. Boat spends time on Lake O, Finger Lakes and ADKs. Thanks for the help. Sean Sent from my moto g stylus using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Unfortunately we do use the main motor to troll. Right now I have everything on the main battery with the exception of the fish hawk, which is on the TM (front) battery. We troll primarily, then drift/cast second. I've owned the boat for 3 years and have used the trolling motor twice. Just not a bass guy. I've really only kept the TM on the boat as an emergency power source. If I add a second rigger and the other stuff I mentioned am I still good running off the main battery? Hey Everyone, looking for some help with making sure I have an adequate power supply for next season. Here's where I am now: 2017 Lund Rebel XS Sport Humminbird Helix 9 Mega DI GPS FishHawk X4 (1) Scotty 1116 DR Minnkota Powerdrive 55lb TM Mercury Analog Prerig w/Gauges Looking to add: 2nd Scotty 1116 DR Marine CB Radio Kicker or Terrova AP (still trying to decide) Right now I only have the 2 stock 12v batteries onboard (one under the rod locker and another at the stern) and need some help with what I might need to keep everything stable/reliable. Do I need an onboard charging system? (2) inline 12v batteries? Something else? Attached are a couple photos of the battery slots as they are today, with everything unbuttoned for winter. Thanks guys, Sean Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Nothing beats the sense of accomplishment in my opinion. Managing the chaos all by yourself is where it's at. Just be careful man and consider a ripcord and/or jacket. You never know when that rogue wave or boat or fish reach might cause you to lose your balance. Don't mean to be a downer. Sean Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
Amen to that. Lot of good people putting their lives on the line out there. Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Pine Grove/Salmon River Launch

My buddy took my boat out yesterday with a friend from work and his son out of Pine Grove. Took 2 BTs, both on Mags and a decent King on a green ladder back spinny/fly on a rigger parked at 90' over 130'. Beyond that a couple rigger knock offs is all. He fished first light til noon. Temps still pretty deep. It was the boy's first ever king so watching him rip the rigger out to 500' was quite a thrill! Sean Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
