  1. First check the capacity sticker for your vessel. If you want a very reliable unit consider Honda. I also have had good results with Tohatsu at a much better price.
  2. Don't use the fiber gear. You can get a metal one. Little noisy but lasts forever. May need to modify oiler. Check the internet. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Not too familiar with cobra drives but bellows have been known to leak also. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Sei unit complete 1200. 3 year warranty. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Why not update to pertronix ignition. Loose the points. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Google it. Pretty neat ceremony. First off you have to unname the vessel. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Still have a 1964 Starcraft 21 ft. Never leaked a drop. They don't make them like they used to. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Could be bad exhaust elbows. Had same water issue long time ago. Water hits hot exhaust valve, ruins valve allows water into cylinder.
  9. By the way, passing on either side is only by sound signal. Law says 1 blast means I intend to leave you on my port side, the other vessel will respond with 1 blast if he agrees. Please check the rules again. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I thought you were looking for Lyman boats. Great boats built in my home town, Sandusky Ohio. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. You would think that living in Rochester you could find a good quarajet guy. They did have a soft cam problem. Most io's are accessible on the front to replace the cam without pulling the motor. It usually doesn't run well at ant rpm. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Try reading the rules they only apply to two vessels meeting. Your kinda in a grey area after that. BE safe that's the real law out there. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I guess you don't care about the environment? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. What happened to bellows cement etc. A lot depends on what out drive you are working on. Go ti I boat and download info on your unit. Also has homemade tools to do the job. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. We're you displaying your proper day shapes for vessels engaged in fishing, trawling or underwater operation. I asked the captain of the tug when they were building the breakwater at Port ontario where his were. He said somewhere below. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
