  1. Is the launch open, accessible and is anyone fishing? Thanks
  2. Everything Sk8man said, plus the biggest decision is between a flipover or a hub. I had a small eskimo hub and it was really tough for me to get in and out of. Sold it and found a one man flipover. Worked way better for me. The plan was to be able to move more easily from spot to spot. I get lazy and a usually stay too long over NO fish however. I'd take a walk out to a popular spot and ask guys what the like and don't like about their setups. Way better information that most dealers can give and you can see first hand. . Lastly, with all of the snow this winter, a smitty sled is essential if you are pulling anything by had.
  3. I just used Krenzer in Sodus late in the fall to upgrade from a 90 merc to a 150. Very happy. Get in touch with Rick Hajecki, Crazy Yankee on here. Dealers are out at shows, should have some deals available.
  4. Nice resolution. Not being familiar with Humminbirds, were you running High CHIRP? Thinking of going with this transducer on my older HDS GEN 3
  5. thanks, on Christmas list
  6. Nice trip. Good point about less complicated lets clients be more involved. I'm sure they enjoyed it.
  7. Wanted: lost my Fish Hawk probe last night☹️ Any used ones still out there or will I have to go to a new rechargeable? Opinions from those who have switched appreciated
  8. I finally did it….snapped off my x4d probe and rigger weight yesterday. Now I find out the probes are discontinued in favor of the rechargeable lithium models. what are the thoughts on the new models vs the old standard? I’d be interested if anyone wants to sell a used one.
  9. Still trying to sell this. Make an offer.
  10. That screenshot of the lures you used is priceless for a newbie like me who gets confused with the random names lure manufacturers come up with for their patterns. thanks
