  1. looking for 2 more Berts ratching rod holders...
  2. There are some monster Sheephead in that lake! State record caught just last year out of Oneida Lake 43" 36lbs
  3. Killed them in Fish Creek Sat had my limit in 20 mins and was back home in bed before sun was up! Nothing to report size wise but 3 fish in 5 casts from shore was fun. Sunday was a little more challenging, I needed about 10 casts to get my 3 fish...
  4. Yeah I knew that prolly had one with charging built in. I got a bare bones 8hp but that's all I needed really, manual start is fine and I have 2 main starting batteries with a switch. Not to mention 2 trolling motor batteries I could swap if need be. I would have to try really hard to drain all 4 batteries to the point I can't start my boat. I also have an aux solar trickle charger I use when trolling for extended periods of time just to be safe.
  5. I have been buying/selling things on internet forums for atleast the last 10yrs... 97% of the time it's great, nice people, easy transactions... but the other 3% of the time it's what you experienced. I just had an issue here recently where we had a deal made and I was waiting for the guy to send me his paypal info so I could pay him. He never responded back to my calls/texts/emails. Sounds like you got the bad ones out of the way early, hopefully the rest will be painless for you! FWIW I just bought a brand new Tohatsu 8hp 4-stroke with hose/tank for $1750 delivered, I beleive the 9.8 4strokes were like $200 more.
  6. Networking with what? Both HB and Lowrance make Non-GPS units but they are usually smaller screen units. They also don't network between brands so it depends on what you're trying to network with.
  7. If you can find one... Willie's Baitfile. Easy to see/pick out the colors you want, you can add pages to fit your collection too.
  8. Here's the thing I learned... with these mods done the boards work better at pulling heavy stuff (ie 300 copper) BUT they will run worse at pulling lighter stuff (shallow diver). Once you do these mods the boards are pretty much dedicated to running heavier stuff. I have a 3 sets of un-modified boards for browns/walleye and 2 sets of modified ones for running coppers and leadcore.
  9. Will be up in the Henderson Harbor Area May 9-13 can bring this with me...
  10. Looking for 2 ratcheting rod holders, must be track mount. Cannon, Berts, etc, let me know what you have.
  11. still seems like the best bet is a dreamweaver tube file... $25 for 34 tubes and a storage box (.73 each). Or you can buy them from that site (.69 each) once you add in caps and you have to buy 1000 at a time...
  12. I just ballparked mine, it’s not that it has to be at exactly 45* at a specific location. The whole idea is to raise the point where the line attaches to the board.
  13. This is pretty much a universal mount for larger electronics, guy i bought it from used it on an HDS 12 and I was going to use it on a Helix 10. I decided to go a different way with mounting mine. https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-D-111U-C $75 shipped
  14. Inline boards will never run even close to as wide a big boards. No matter what mods you do to them. They simply weren’t designed to run like that.
  15. 60ft to the side is prolly about right depending on what you’re pulling. So you’re not comfortable running 2 boards in a 60ft space? I doubt my outside board is ever more than 50ft off the side when running doubles and I have room to run a third IMO. How far away do you want the board to run?
  16. something isn’t right... I pull full size thunderstick divers running 25ft deep off unmodified boards with no problems. Never tried 3 boards but I run 2 per side just about every time I’m out. I modified a set just like they said to and they pull 300 coppers just like they said they would do. Both offshore and church make a larger inline board as well. If I ran longer than 300 coppers more often I wouldn’t hesitate to try those.
  17. Few that I have are roughly 1 3/8” x 4”... found something similar at uline.com. 1.5”x6” but by time you buy the end caps it ends up being $1.25 a tube without shipping. For that price I can buy an Amish fly caddy and have a box with it too.
  18. I’m Looking for the plastic tubes to store pre rigged flies. I see Amish outfitter and dream weaver boxes that come with tubes, but I’m looking for the tubes only. Anyone know where to get just the tubes and caps?
  19. Was the kicker designed for salt water use?
  20. Put me first in line for the 2 8’ daiwa wilderness ml w/ daiwa accudepth lcb.... 15lb big game and 10lb seagur fluro ($30 each) pm sent
