  1. 2 Okuma Magda Pro 30 spooled with 1000' wire and Power handles, along with 2 8'6" Okuma GLT Rods with twili tips. Pickup only Located in Rome, NY $150. Caught plenty of fish on these setups and never had an issue.
  2. Bump....
  3. Just an FYI this is the best price I have found on new ones if you decide to go that route, comes with tattle flag kit and upgraded front clips already installed. https://www.franksgreatoutdoors.com/off-shore-combo-bag.html
  4. Couple things to consider imo when looking for a new finder on a smaller boat. I'm guessing with a 16ft boat in your sig that full-blown auto-pilot isn't something your looking for correct? Do you have an electric trolling motor? Brand? I ask because both Lowrance and Humminbird are more compatible with a specific brand trolling motor (HB/Minn Kota and Lowrance/Motorguide) Lot of ppl will use bow mounted TM as autopilot of sorts on a smaller boat. Do you need/want down/side imagining? SI/DI is about the cost of going to the next screen size up so really consider if it is something you really want. Personally I have an 18ft boat, Minn Kota Terrova with iPilot Link connected to a HB Helix 9 and love it. I also have a Helix 7 SI/DI and almost never use the SI/DI, for the same price I wish I got another non-imaging Helix 9.
  5. I also recommend the fish hawk TD, but first I would look at getting your counters working. It's a pretty simple system, either the counter itself is bad, the small gear is bad or it isn't lined up properly. A new counter/gear combo is pretty cheap and would be where I started once you confirmed the alignment is good. https://www.fish307.com/cannon-downrigger-part-0220477-depth-counter-3-digit/ https://www.fish307.com/cannon-downrigger-part-0833561-gear-counter/
  6. I have a couple 30 size Magdas with Tuna Toms CF drag washer upgrade and power handles, I use them when I run 4 dipseys in summer time. They haven't let me down yet, they were my main wire dipsey setups when I first started and have caught a good number of fish. Magdas aren't the greatest (specifically the LC portion) but the reel is far from junk.
  7. I use the Auto-pilot function on my Terrova trolling motor, does very well in normal conditions. Not sure how well it would work in some serious wind/waves though.
  8. I usually "tune" my LC atleast once a year because of this. I measure out 100' on the lawn and make sure that my LC says 100 when I reach that spot. It's an easy fix if all you need to do is remove line, if you need to add line that is the tricky part. Usually if I'm +/- 5' I call it good. If it's short but not by enough to justify re-spooling I put a small label on the reel and write down the number I need the LC to say to actually reach 100'. I know a guy that used to take his rods down to the local high school football field so he could do this out to 300'.
  9. Still for sale
  10. Lol what are you interested in? This is a WTB (Want To Buy) ad. I’m looking to buy a couple reels.
  11. Rome, NY
  12. Used this for a year, worked great for finding the thermocline and figuring out blowback on my riggers. I bit the bullet and bought an X4D so I no longer need this. I can get pictures if need someone wants to see it. $120 shipped Or Trade for a matching pair of Linecounter Reels!
  13. You are first in line now, no response from the other guy in 2 days... moving on
  14. Yes swivel bases are included and pictured above.
  15. Absolutely! If your aren’t buying it pass the details along to a fellow needy LOU member (me) as someone (me) would surely buy it for that price!
  16. I had one person contact me yesterday via PM then I will contact the next in line. Thanks!
  17. **Please note** riggers are pictured both with dual rod holders... only ONE is coming with dual holders! The other comes with the standard single holder. Plug to battery wire is not shown but IS included. I just haven’t had a chance to unwire the boat yet.
  18. I will get pics later tonight... they are the Bosch oblong ones for sure.
  19. As someone who just started really getting into Salmon fishing in the past few years here is what I recommend... You have riggers so that's a HUGE plus, Next get 2 wire dipsey setups and atleast 2 of each size dipsey diver (not counting the mini). A Google search will turn up a depth chart for each size dipsey, print them and carry them with you. 2 Riggers and 2 dipseys is a great starting point that shouldn't cause you too many issues and is fairly budget friendly. Another budget friendly addition is a free slider (Search LOU for info on this), throw one on each of your rigger rods and you got 6 lines in the water. I would also recommend atleast a fish hawk TD to help find the thermocline and figure out the blowback on your riggers. Alot of people hate on the Magdas but I can tell you from experience they 100% will catch salmon. Not the best reels by far but I wouldn't toss them aside as a junk reel. You can always upgrade as you get more into it. Couple spoons, flashers and flies will get you started. Last bit of advice is to pay attention to the weather, read the reports ppl post here and don't be afraid to ask questions... lot of friendly ppl here! Goodluck!
