  1. At this point I'm grateful for being able to stream fish. I prefer to launch at pine grove, but I'm small. Less big boat chaos. Longer ride, but 6 gallons of fuel runs me all day with a 2 gallon emergency reserve. Be smart, be safe, and looking forward to Sept, unless there's fish in July. 2. X2 with justtracy, run symmetries for freshwater spinning, and older 4500 bait runners for salt. Still have okuma and Diawa counters for salmon. They only get used 3 or 4 times a year. When they start giving me issues going to switch. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Took a run to fishing creek yesterday, too nice to sit home pouting. Was hungry for a fat home grilled cheese burger. Not a pack of burger too be found in the store. Really? Got Trout? Works for me. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Good deal offshore, haven't uncovered my rig yet lol. I stopped trusting forcasts, every time I've made the run it was nothing like they predicted Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. I knew if I left the bait sit long enough someone would bite . lmao Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Reminds me of stopping in to see the old man at Bear tackle and he always had the same corny joke. ....Why do you pull copper? ....... Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. Proud of you Hachimo! And thanks to all for your support. We all have our sh#t. Just felt the need to pay it forward. Keep the pics coming in reports. Alot of beautiful fish and good people. We get what we need, not what we want. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Finally put down the swords and took my son to Fishing Creek. He's been battling addiction for over 10 yrs now. I know there's alot of folks in the same situation. He's been locked up, wrecked several cars, od'd twice. Not looking for simpithy here, having 32 yrs clean and sober myself. My point is that it's a fd up world we live in but sometimes just standing still in a favorite fishing hole can be more cleansing than imaginable. He has 9 months clean now, still alive. And yes we had a few rainbows sacrifice themselves to the fly. Works for me! Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  14. Yeh, could tell some stories. This topic gets alot of discussion from both sides. Mostly caring advice. I only fish the O in August and September, but will fish temp as long as possible. Tough that time of yr. Always have a backup plan. Oneida for bass ,walleye etc., or run to Cayuga for land locks and lakers. Fish your gear, and stay in your comfort zone. Safety protocol and pfds mandatory! Unfortunately for me, sometimes you can't fix stupid, but never put people at risk. Just being in big water is enough. Be humble. 15. Go for it, but be prepared to spend alot of time at the launch watching the big dogs fish. I run a 16ft with a 25 tiller, get laughed at alot, but have had some awesome experiences. It only takes 1 Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. It'll all be over soon Les ! Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Haven't been able to get the full scoop. I've heard lots of stories about 50 + stripers this time of yr. Big cows. I'm betting somewhere off the Susquehanna on a wreck. We get 40's out of Sandy Hook . Never got one over 35 myself. That fish is insane Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Buddy sent me this, holy crap! Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Watched a guy take of his hard top on a new whaler in Keyport NJ. Low bridge, high tide. Oops! I've done most of the mishaps mentioned. Nothing worse than being, "That Guy" at the launch lol. Funny stuff. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Had a similar problem in my 1st home. Unfortunately grain keeps them coming. Box baits were the only thing that worked. And snakes. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. I washed the truck and wacked a couple of grackles with the gamo. Have to wash the truck again. Lol Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  23. I'm a union contractor in Philly. I've worked in every hospital there as well as most schools and industry in the tri state over the last 35 yrs. Some of the best hospitals and medical staff in the country, Children's Hospital being the gem in my opinion. They closed job sites back in early March but some are still running on skeleton crews if you sign a waver. I'm still home, and broke. Others are living large, with lots of OT. I wonder what the world would be like if stupidity was painful! ???. Sent from my SM-G900P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
