  1. how many days is the course?
  2. . No you are correct. But if your shooting them out of a crossbow at over 400 FPS, you need heavy splined arrows with weight forward of center. My scorpyd 165 shoots 428 FPS with a 415 grain arrow but if there not weight forward heavy spines they shoot all over at 40 yards. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. I have one of these on my boat. I love the thing works great. I payed about twice that amount. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. He is correct. Bags all the way. I had a trolling plate, they make it harder to steer in the wind with some chop. And if you don’t trip it when you go to leave the spot to head in you’ll shear the pin. I bought bags and have never regretted it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. I would go with blue or green. they are the last 2 colors to disappear as you go deeper. once your below 60 feet or so they all look black, even the chrome. now the glows work deeper.
  6. I pull sticks on one side and spoons on the other until the fish decide what they want. this past spring walleye candy spoons were hot for spring browns on Lake Ontario.
  7. X2 on the blue diamond rods. I use these in the 9 foot version. great rod for walleye and spring browns.
  8. I have the same net. works great for kings in the 20# and over range. I paid 150 for mine. the only down side is it is pretty heavy, I use a lot lighter net when fishing for walleye. when you have a big King on the line you don't notice the weight and the extra length is a must have.

  13. I use something similar to a Seth green rig. Mine consists of a big penn reel with 800 feet of 60 lb braid. I put 16 to 32 oz weight on 12 inches of mono, on a 3way swivel, then I loop in a spro swivel ( the smaller one) every 8 feet from the end. I put 8 swivels on looped in. (This gives me options to spread things out) I then use a 6 to 8 foot leader with a snap-swivel on both ends. For a rod I use a heavy trolling rod that use to be 9 foot. I broke off a foot or so and attached a twilly tip. I run this as a chute rod. It’s a killer system, I’ve used it for Lakers, walleye, steelhead, all at the same time on Erie. I use it on Ontario for kings and steelhead at the same time. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
