  3. Minn Kota Vector 3x 55 lb Thrust Electric Motor Very lightly used Minn Kota Vector 3x 55 lb Thrust 42" Shaft Electric Motor in excellent condition with a weedless prop. If you know about this model, you probably know it has a special 3x steering design as well as a maximizer that extends battery life. The Vector model ran $400-$450 when new. Purchased new in 2005, and only used about 10 times from 2005-2009, then stored away in a garage until this summer. Works perfectly, with very low hours Price reduced to $160 or $210 including a lightly used deep cycle battery. Ithaca, NY area, no shipping
  4. 2004 Johnson 15 hp 4 stroke (like new, electric start) 2004 Johnson 15 hp 4 stroke outboard with electric start in excellent, like new condition. Less than 20 hours on the motor and it's a long shaft, tiller model. I have the original manual and gas tank to include with it. This motor was part of a gift in 2004 a friend bought new for his 75 year old Father. Motor was used only a few times per Summer season from 2005 thru 2009 in fresh water. Before the motor went into garage storage in 2009 it was serviced, tuned-up and winterized. Summer 2017 it came out of storage, was put into the water, started right up to test before selling and runs perfect, like new. Located in Ithaca, NY $1800
  5. That's one quick slam, wow. I noticed the fish did seem to turn on a bit more toward the end, as well. Ended up doing an extra hour or so of fishing instead of making the drive to the weigh in from T-Falls since I didn't have much worth weighing. Glad to hear the turnout was solid, and it will continue next year.
  6. Those are solid size boxes, very nice. How did you do suttontroller94? I couldn't seem to connect with the bigger fish much yesterday. Half dozen very small LL, one 18" rainbow, 5 lakers but nothing over 4 1/2 pounds. One big fish on, early afternoon but it got off. Nice cool weather out there.

  8. Another beauty thick salmon! Picked up a 30" laker out there today, thought it would be heavier when I saw it, but my scale read 9 lb 8 oz.

  11. Got out with my 12 yr old nephew and my dad yesterday and again with the nephew today. Both mid morning-early afternoon trips. Six salmon, 3 small lakers, one small rainbow the first day. Best fish were a 5 1/4 lb and a 4 lb salmon. Today, started slow but then we got two on at once, one turned out to be a beauty 7 lb 27 3/4" rainbow, other a small laker. Half hr later another nice 4 lb rainbow. A few other small salmon and lakers, one other small bow and we let the nephew bring in almost all the fish. Had a ball. Best luck was between the scout camp and Kidders. All spoons, a bunch of colors were getting them, many depths 85 - 300 fow, 40-65 down. Fleas and weeds were annoying but we worked through it and the nephew was real happy. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Any idea what size the flt spoons are? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. There's very little online about eating fish with hab in affect. One would think if it was rinsed well after cleaning it could be ok. But I did find this link which says "Avoid eating fish caught from areas with a bloom". I'm probably gonna hold off. http://www.dec.ny.gov/docs/water_pdf/habsbrochure.pdf Hopefully they'll update the initial link I posted with additional info or an update again soon. I wonder if the cooler weather this week is doing some good.
  14. This page from the Cayuga Watershed Network has a bit more info... https://www.facebook.com/events/153457818563047/ It says HABs have been reported at the Village of Aurora swimming beach, Frontenac Park in Union Springs, and several other locations on both the east and west shorelines. But, yeah the DEC status says widespread/lakewide.
  15. Yeah, it stinks to have to think about. My niece and nephew are visiting this coming weekend, and I was going to buy a small towable for some extra fun for them, but decided against it after seeing this. They'll have to stick to fishing, which luckily they love! Yeah I'd be curious to hear any folks thoughts about it.
